Osteria del Sole

We were in Rome for 3 days and we fortunately found Osteria del Sole on The Fork. A Cozy, warm interior, friendly and caring service from Mattia (i hope i wrote it correctly and Im really sorry if I didn't haha) which is the owner of the place by the way. Mattia and the other waitress were very kind with our poor Italian and Mattia was patient enough to explain each dish of the menu with recommendations, and they were AMAZING! We had 2 dishes each plus one to share and of course we left some space for their amazing dessert which is a must! We also had our new favorite wine which was an Amarone and if you didn't try yet you must do it asap! Just to say that If you ever come to Rome please make the effort to come here!

Amazing service! The host translated and read the whole menu to me in English. The staff was so sweet and accommodating. The food was also soooo soo sooo good! Highly recommend!

Fantastic service phenomenal pasta! Waitress was super friendly and helpful. Best meal we have had in Rome and we have been here for 8 days eating at every level of food. From expensive to cheap and fast and this place is the best!

This oesteria is a gem. The staff is not only friendly but knowledgeable and passionate about food, which is incredible. Most of the dishes we ordered had layers of complex and surprising flavors. The food was far better than some of the more popular/ recommended restaurants we have tried in Rome.

Fab little street restaurant in the Latin quarter of Rome. All the food is homemade and reasonable priced. Very friendly staff.

Very nice restaurant, nice staff, very good food...We, as simple-minded tourists, were surprised by this restaurant. Italian dishes with a twist, well prepared, and kind staff willing to explain the menu. Even had a conversation about the pronounciation of the Dutch city of Oegstgeest 🙂...If I may ever return to Rome (hope so), definitely a place to visit again.

A great place for lunch. Excellent wine list & reasonably priced food. We chose prosciutto & burratta, a tuna tartare both with a salad & pasta amatriciana, all excellent. Also offered an amuse bouche of bean paste with powdered sage, (so good).A friendly ambiance with a mix of 50s/60s music & the staff were very good too. Would certainly consider going again. Well done to the staff😄

Excellent service, Delicious food and wine
Spotlessly clean and great atmosphere, you can also sit outside. They have really nice dishes to choose from. I highly recommend and the service is second to none. Grazie!

This beautifully decorated Osteria near the metro station „Furio Camillo“ is worth a visit. 10 minutes from the city center, you will find delicious and innovative interpretations of Roman food, a wide selection of wine and one of the best tiramisus I’ve ever had.

Creative new italien cuisine, very delicious beef tartare from the Daily recomendation, a Veggie Quinoa dish were part of a quiet Perfect evening with Family And Friends!
