Was here this week in Rome and felt compelled enough to share the quality of both the product and service for this purchase. Having custom made shoes is is not a financial option for me, but I still feel it worthwhile to buy quality that I know will last. Careful inspection of these shoes reveals quality craftsmanship. The stitching is tight and even. The soles are solid; the fit was more of an immediate and snug hug rather than constriction that you hope will break later. Antonio the salesperson (who spoke great English) was helpful and patient with my many questions and desire to try multiple solutions pairs. The only mistake I made was wearing them for the first time and getting caught in the rain. A little slippage along the cobblestone streets of Ancient Rome! But no matter, the shoes are made to be water resistant and eventually got some traction as I kept walking. A fine luxury shoe that will not break the bank. Can be worn with formal clothing (suit) or casual-nest jeans. I plan to revisit this review in several years, confident that this artisanal craftsmanship will stand the rest of time. Grazie mille!

Impeccable service, very professional and kind. Hand-made shoes of any kind with quality materials at a very reasonable price. 10/10 and I will come back for more shoes!

I am the type of person who wants products that will last and don't mind spending extra time, money, and research to find them. Velasca was one of the first hits on google when I was looking up boot options in Rome. In May 2022, I went to the store to see if the had the Giasee boot in stock and to assess the brand. They didn't have it in store since they were transitioning to the summer styles. I returned 7 months later but they didn't have the product yet but they kindly ordered the boots to the store. I initially went half a size too small but they were very nice and we reordered the next size up. All in all I probably went to the store 6 times in pursuit of these boots and they were more than kind and helpful every time. I now have the perfect fit and I am glad I spent the time because I can tell these boots will last me forever. A truly quality product at great price and a truly genuine store team. Highly recommend!

The bottega in central Roma was delightfully cozy and calm, and the manager was informative. I was able to quickly and pleasantly decide on two pairs that fit perfectly and represented a good value for money.

Great shoes. Happy to have bought them before Autumn. Loved the support by the employee. They did not have my size at the time of the visit, but the employee suggested that they can send me the shoes to where i was in Italy, which was the perfect solution.
The quality, handwork and all are perfecet. Will enjoy wearing them.
I am also happy to know their sizes, so now i will be bale to order online, although the personal touch is always better. :)

Wonderful shoes, phenomenal staff. They were out of the model I wanted in the store, they tracked it down elsewhere and had it shipped to the states to me in three days! The staff at the store in Rome were super nice and extremely helpful. 👍

Very helpful. Helped find my size at another store and the shoes were ready for me when I go to the other store. Great oxfords, walked for 6 hrs the very day I bought them, even thought thats not they are meant for.

Velasca manifactures excellent shoes. They are also very well organized allowing you to try your size in their bottega and recieve your pair at home.
