Aurelia Vatican Apartments

We had two lovely stays in these spacious and comfortable apartments, a short walk from a Metro station, grocery, cafes and a very good and reasonably priced restaurant: Golden Italy.

Very friendly and helpful owners/staff. They set us up with a fantastic tour of the Vatican that included the gardens which were a highlight of our trip!

We were travelling to Rome with a big family and this place fit us very well - the lodging is close (10 min) to a very convenient mall with a full-fledged supermarket (Pam) and what every family with kids needs. The staff is super friendly, patient and is eager to help you plan your day and make the most out of your Rome stay. I have to point out that a staff member came to help us even at 2AM when we arrived late due to a flight delay.
Next to the above-mentioned mall is the train/metro station which takes your every central location in Rome.

Loved this place cause it was close to everything. There is a mall close by. 24-hour supermarket, restaurants, the metro, and bus service. Rooms were clean and spacious. The people here were very helpful with our requests. Next time in Rome I will stay here.

Location is very near the Vatican City and easily accessible by bus 495. The bus stop is conveniently a 1 minute walk from the apartment. The room was comfortable and basic amenities were provided.

Stayed at the Aurelia for a couple days. Very nice place to stay, Giada was a very nice and wonderful host. She gave a great run down on the city of Rome and how to navigate around town and what to see. Will definitely be staying here again on my next trip.

A fantastic place. Great value for money. It deserved every cents. Comfortable accomodation. Easy to commute downtown with bus (bus stop just outside the hotel), metro (and train for Trastevere area) in 10 mins walk. Next time in Rome we will definately stay there again. I particularly enjoyed the shared kitchen on the each floor, fully equipped that allowed me to prepare my breakfast and meals. There is also a big fridge with compartments for every apartment where you can store your groceries. Thank you Gaida for the fabulous service, the good advices and for the big smiles. The best customer oriented person in a reception I have ever met. Modern and clean room with balcony.

Our stay at Aurelia was amazing, Giada from the apartments had been super friendly and gives you detailed information about metro, and how to roam around Rome :) I will definitely come back with family. It’s affordable yet amazing place to stay.

We loved our stay here at the Aurelia Vatican Apartments. Very clean rooms. Very nice and knowledgable staff. Our room had a rooftop terrace which was lovely. No complaints at all about the room and amenities at all. We loved that there was laundry on site. The only difficulty we had was with the bus schedule that would take us to the metro station. We never were able to quite figure out the times it would arrive and so we would walk to and from the metro which isn't too far but if you are carrying luggage it can be difficult. The location is nicely placed within walking distance to a supermarket and a shopping mall. Overall a very pleasant stay and we would recommend this place to anyone looking for a home away from home in Rome/Roma.

The welcome to this tranqil yet central hideaway was very warm. We got a nice cappuccino and the girl from the reception took herself 20 minutes to explain the venue ' the surrounding and sights of Roma as well as the public transportation. The room was clean' modern and comfortable with a pantry kitchen and situated in a calm and picturesque courtyard. Parking just in front. Very convent.

I have nothing but the best things to say about this place. It is a little out of the main city hub, but it's absolutely perfect in every other way. The bus is very close, the metro is only a 20 minute walk away, and the Vatican is super close by. The staff is nothing but professional and friendly and will go out of their way to help you. They gave us great tips on where to go for good food and authentic experiences and their airport shuttle saved us a world of hassle. Do not hesitate to book this place if they are available!

I booked a room after arriving at my Airbnb and it was disgusting. I looked on orbitz for a hotel and saw this place for a decent price and read the reviews. Let me say this place is fabulous!!! I was able to check in at 12pm and my room was clean and just what I was looking for. This place is tucked away and may seem sketchy but the place is beautiful and perfect for an extended stay. The room I booked does not have a kitchen in the room but there is a community kitchen and it is clean at all times. The staff here is wonderful and very helpful! There is a laundry but it takes exact change which is 4 euros to wash and dry and it must be in 1 euros or .50 cents. The metro is close by and there is a nice shopping mall with a great grocery store on the bottom floor. I highly suggest this place is you are traveling solo or with family. Skip the Airbnb and stay here :)

Extremely warm welcome from Kate, Sam and Spartacus! With only one day in Rome sightseeing time was at a premium but with Sam's help we were able to fit in the major sights. The apartments are comfortable, clean and well equipped. 10 to 15 minute walk to the grocery, subway and closest pizzeria. A charming and lovely place to stay in Rome

Lovely place to sleep and have a chill on the balcony. Close to the Vatican city, bus and metro. We got great advices, over the top planning all ready made for us including transportation. The receptionist spoke perfect English, he even upgraded us when
we showed him we have beautiful travel pictures in Instagram . @alynushea and @mrgints . Overall price quality perfection.

It's a very pleasant one room apartment style hotel, overlooking a pleasant courtyard. The woman working here has been incredibly helpful in planning daily travel and exhibits, and in general it has been a great experience.

We stayed there for a night After U2's concerto at Stadio Olimpico in July 2017 . It's a really nice Place and we enjoyed our stay there. Rooms are very clean and modern and the terrace with all' those flowers and balconies in very italian style is great. I suggest this Place if You Need an accomodation for your stay in Rome. Fair prices and kind people . Thanks a lot!:)

My husband and I are seniors and in all the years we have travelled we have never stayed in a more beautiful place. I am saying this not just because the apartment was lovely, but the people operating it are amazing. They go out of their way to make your stay a very special one.
Anyone going to Rome and does not stay here will never experiance what true hospitality is all about. We were here from July 5th to the 11th 2016 and would go back to this place in a heartbeat. Thank you for the amazing time spent with you.Will miss you Giada :)

The Staff was brilliant, especially Jade. She graciously helped us to book all our excursions in Rome and Florence. Close to supermarkets and the bus # 985 is right down the street. Five stars to Freddy the housekeeper! Polita and Mireya

Fantastic staff. Use the bus system and the moovit app to know when and where to take public transportation. Local grocery store is closed on Sunday. Near there is a restaurant that is pretty decent for pizza and pasta and is open late.

She planned trips and was helpful to help use get around to what we wanted to see. The place is safe, quiet, and not too expensive. I highly recommend this place to everyone
