Ristorante Sant'Angelo

We stopped for a late lunch and short rest. The service was genuinely kind and friendly. The portions were more than we could finish. The prices were reasonable. We were tended to but not rushed , even during a very busy time. I read the other reviews and had a very different experience. Shame on you for not feeling that great service should be rewarded. We were happy to tip for a wonderful meal and experience.

Nice little pizzeria close to the Vatican. The seafood pizza was amazing. Pino and Luis and very friendly and helpful.

And lots of 'kabayans' there too!

Excellent food and service! Noodles were cooked perfectly. Sauces were amazing. Good size portions. Very comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommend. Would return next time we are in Rome!

We came to this restaurant and bar twice. Luis and Sandro made our afternoon/evening meals fun and informative. They showed us Americans the true splendor of Italian hospitality. And you can't beat the aperol spritz at this location with the addition of blood orange (always a good sign). We found and returned as we were weary from the crowds of tourists. Thank you, and we will return when back in Rome.

Had no issues, kept it simple - had a pizza with mushrooms. Very good pizza. Had a side salad that was great once olive oil and vinegar were added. Amazing views of the castle. Not sure why so many bad reviews.

We had a nice chat about Italian immigrants to New Italy, then stayed for fantastic pesto pasta and sated mussels and clams, with a lovely view of Castel Sant Angelo across the Tiber. Bellissimo!

I don't know why this place has so many negative reviews. We really liked the pasta. Good prices for food. Thank you for fast and friendly service.

Pino was amazing! Food and atmosphere was truly authentic!! Totally recommend!!

I didn’t see other reviews, kinda shocked. We came there on my birthday. Waiter was very nice and real, helped with advice where to go next, gave us small gift. I knew that pizza in Rome is famous for being bad, but their pizza was more than alright (Margarita). Lasagne was ok too, aperol spritz was ok. Tiramisu was nice, not big but tasted great. Depends how people like I guess. We didn’t get mandatory tips but I tipped anyways, and I’m glad if it’s included in bill by law. People should respect someone’s labor, I worked as waitress and barman a lot so I know what it is like. And if you, tourists, aren’t ready to spend money in other country and support economy by 3,5 euros I imagine who writes comments here.. Peace, thanks for a nice dinner, I liked everything.

Normally I never eat next to tourist attractions,but we were very tired. I think the food was very okey, the waiters kind enough, we had a good time there.
