Whether it’s Matteo, Joe..etc all the guys are awesome! Had a pleasure having a haircut and a clean shave by Jo. Awesome job and amazing experience.

Alessandro and Jò was friendly and welcoming. Alessandro gave me a great haircut while I was on vacation. Service was fantastic. Interior is cool and feels like a classic barbershop. I’d definitely recommend!

I am from the US. Wife and I went to Rome for our honeymoon. We walked in and I got a haircut and shave from Matteo. He was a true professional, paying respect to the art of being a barber. I was nervous about the wet shave but he did a great job. No nicks, no cuts. Baby bottom smooth face. Highly recommend.

Visiting from Australia, I needed a haircut, beard trim and shave on arrival to Rome two weeks into our holiday. Best experience I’ve ever had in a barber shop.
Max and Jo were very friendly. I was able to communicate what I was after using an old photo and Max provided one of the best haircuts and closest shaves I’ve had.
Very different experience to that in Australia through use of traditional barber techniques and etiquette.
I intended to visit again before I return home.

Best cut in town! Came in for my first haircut since the pandemic started and Patrick did a fantastic job fixing my self cut and doing a meticulous scissor cut & razor detail. I walked in with my son, who had very long hair and needed a hair cut. He sat with Jo for the hair cut. Jo is very detail oriented. He took his time during the cut and also asked my son to stand up, to check the actual length, and kept him that way to make sure the hair cut was right. It was so good that my wife sent me back that same day with my daughter. Jo is like a hair artist, and you can tell he enjoys it. I highly recommend this place.

I had travelled all the way from Sydney Australia and thought I would get a haircut and I was fortunate enough to stumble across max and Jo barbershop. Mateo gave me the cleanest cut you would ever imagine. Precision, accuracy and finesse were at work when Matteo picked up those scissors and clippers and had me looking like a man ready to cause havoc in the streets of Rome. Cheers Matteo

My wife and I were traveling in Rome for our honeymoon, and this was a perfect place to get a haircut and shave mid-trip. I emailed them to make an appointment a few days before we arrived, and they responded in a timely manner even though the shop was technically "closed" for the day (Monday). Great experience and the barber was exceptionally friendly. If you don't speak any Italian (like me), I would recommend bringing a picture of your normal haircut. It made the process 10X easier. And the hot towel after the shave was a perfect way to wrap up the authentic Italian-barbershop experience!

Best haircut in Roma! My friend and I both went and got our beards and hair done. The guys are nice, attentive, and incredibly detail oriented. And we LOVED the way we looked :)

Great experience!! Came for a walk up and Jo was super helpful in helping fit me in the same day. The service was extremely quick and friendly; however the cut was extremely detailed and precise! One of the cleanest cuts and fades I’ve ever got and was able to get a wash afterwards. Jo did a great job with attention to detail and gave a great quality cut! Would 100% recommend!!!

HIGHLY recommended this place for tourists needing a fresh cut! I had Alejandro and he was an absolute gem. Was very attentive to what I needed and always made sure I was okay with it. Plus the head massage you get at the end just tops it all off!!

I had an excellent experience here with a straight razor shave yesterday. I was staying nearby on my trip to Rome and walked in for the shave. The barber was fast, thorough, and professional; price was 20€.

Been going to the same barber for the past 5 years in Australia so was hesitant to try somewhere new. Traveling through Europe was in need of a cut and came across a recommendation to visit Max&Jò barber shop. Couldn’t be happier with the cut I received from Jò! Didn't get my barber's name but from the reviews looks like it was Jò, I came in as a walk in and he was able to see me. I was nervous because i have really straight thin hair and is hard to get it right but Jò was able to work my hair and left me with a good haircut. Definitely recommend the whole experience 👌🏼

Great experience. Joe is an excellent Barber with a steady hand and a doctors chair side manner. The wash, scalp massage and cut were a very tranquil almost Zen experience. I highly recommend the shop to anyone spending time in Rome.

Super nice guys who know their craft. I've been here twice so far (first time with appointment made via Facebook, and the second time as a walk-in) and I will definitely be back. They give a superb haircut with a ton of attention to detail. I'm studying Italian but it is not my first language, and they were welcoming and patient even with all the mistakes I surely made. If you don't speak any Italian, show a photo of the style you want. A picture is worth a thousand words. Grazie per tutto, e grazie per aiutarmi con il mio italiano!
