Incredible meal! The service was perfect. Very quiet and romantic spot for lunch.

My wife had the vegetable soup and the cooked vegetables. I had the risotto with shrimp and spinach. My wife had the poached pear dessert, she was freaking out, she said it was so amazing. The meloncello shots - OMG!

Perfection!!!

Could not recommend this restaurant enough. The staff are attentive and so friendly. Also very child friendly. Happy lovely guys. The food.... wow. Exquisite. Highly recommend the pasta pepe comes in a cheese bowl. Literally. And it tastes... Well amazing. They do smaller dishes for children which is rare in rome. And it is just as gorgeous as the full plates. The sauvignon blanc is smashing. The funghi pasta was delicious and the antipasti was second to none. Will be revisiting for sure. The guys are super welcoming and for the price the value is insane. Their house dessert is an absolute must its a hot pear essentially with spices and prunes absolutely stunning. The decor is very traditional and cute. Everyone should visit here at least ones before they leave if not more.

Exquisite.

We had the pleasure of dining here while we were in Rome 2 yrs ago. We went to dinner the first night we got there as a recommendation from the hotel and we ended up coming back every single night until we left. It was not only that the food was delicious, but the service was superb! We couldn’t have asked for a better team to take care of us, they went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. On the last night we were there they made a plate for my daughter that was not on the menu and they even gifted us our favorite bottle of wine. Such a treat!
If you’re looking for a great place and service while in Rome, stop by, you won’t regret it!

The food is phenonemal. Breathtaking even. It was so fire we hit it 3x in the week we were in rome. The lasagna is number 1. The vodka with fish pasta made a man go non-verbal. The raw ham pizza made a mans toes curl. The chocolate mousse was divine it made a man scrape the plate so loudly for every last milligram that we had to intervene.
The service is amazing its like we were day ones with the staff.
The 31 hours of travel from sydney was worth it. As jack harlow said "have you ever bee to Italy and eaten Italian?"
Yes Jack, matter of fact I have. And it was here. And it was beautiful
100/10 would go again

Without exaggeration, one of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had.
The service from the staff was warm and personal.
We had a group of 6 and every dish we were served absolutely incredible.
For any friends visiting Rome, this amazing restaurant has to be on the list!

Our first night in Rome, and we had nothing really planned. We knew of a few top rated places in the area, but all were short on space for the night. Next on the list was Ristorante Terme di Diocleziano!

We were greeted quickly, and guided up to the roof terrace. Don't let the description fool you, whilst it was certainly a 'terrace', it was a room with a roof peeled back with a view not much to be desired. Non-the-less, it was cool and airy on a hot and humid night, so all in all, not much to complain about.

The menu is good and varied, and the wine list diverse enough for most palates. We opted to go for something Italian and dry, and it turned out delicious. We opted for tomato & mozzarella for a shared starter and a couple pasta dishes (think it was cheese and pepper for me, and Bolognese for the missus).

All the food was bang on the money, and the pasta definitely of the fresh variety. All dishes were polished off (apart from the parmesan 'dish' my pasta came in - wasn't sure if I was supposed to eat that as it was likely to put me in hospital if I did), and smiles all around.

Overall 5 stars. The staff were very friendly, once they were warned up and the meal a cracking start to a trip in Rome. All in all, 69€ for a full meal and bottle of wine in one of the world's most special cities is not to be sniffed at. I recommend if you come here, you will NOT be disappointed.

Amazing evening with my husband and toddler. The wait staff is 10/10 here and so is the food. They were so kind to my son and he devoured his penne. My husband and I both got the mushroom steak filets and potatoes and it was exceptional! Tiramisu is a must here! Will be back in the future:) also I saw so many other peoples carbonara dishes that looked absolutely amazing and not like review below. Definitely try this spot if you’re in the area :)

WOW is the only words i have to say. not only is the restaurant located in a historic building but the staff and the food are just wonderful. We found this place just walking by and it capped off out trip to Rome perfectly. The food was a bit pricy but it was well worth it becasue the entire experience was just fantastic. First you can request to sit on the outdoor terrace in the back, quiet, no traffic roaring by, and its covers in case of weather, it is a really great place to grab some food. Second the food, really good, we had had some bunk ass wana-be Italian food from some of those run of the mill nonsense haggling to get you in restaurants, this is not one of those places. It is well prepared and tastes great. You can really tell by the taste the chef puts time into cooking each plate perfectly. Finally the staff, you are sometimes hard pressed to find friendly wait staff in Europe in general but this place holy wow, the staff go above and beyond to make sure your experience with them is 100% perfect. They not only will makes some light jokes with you but really keep the atmosphere upbeat while you are having lunch or dinner. Would i go back to this place if I'm in Rome???? of course i would!!!!!!!!.......It was fantastic.

Well starting from the beginning, the place is targeting tourists rather than locals, the staff is very friendly and well trained, they also speak foreign languages and take the time to small talk a little bit with every guest, 5 stars for the efforts and the hospitality of the people working there..
The food was good, we had a minestrone and fried seafood, it was good quality for the price, although you can find better quality on some high end restaurants in Rome..
The process of ordering and the speed in which the food was prepared felt a little bit as if you are in a rush, anyhow the pace was crowded and still everyone seemed satisfied.
At the end of our dinner we received two free limoncello and after we had to wait a little bit for the cheque we got another two for free..
Summing up: tremendous service, good quality food for a reasonable price! Recommended!

The rooftop tables are really nice. The prices aren't too high for a restaurant in Rome and the waiters are extremely nice. The food itself tasted really well and i would definitely go here again some time.

I really enjoyed my meal. They were really helpful when I asked about the gluten free menu items, they even gave me "replacement" for the drink that they served at the end. I had the gluten free Cachi e Pepe and it was really good.

I’m on holiday right now and I’ve come here almost every night. The servers are hilarious and very very friendly (like the nicest people i’ve ever actually met) and the food is amazing. The service is very fast and the servers are constantly joking and laughing with you. This is the best restaurant I’ve ever been to. Believe me, I’m 13 with more accurate and respectful reviews than half of the people writing them here. It was also very well priced and like i said, some of the nicest people I’ve ever met.
