Friendly host and server who spoke some English. Food was outstanding. Server made recommendations that were mouthwatering pasta dishes. Overall great dining experience in Romanesque setting. Much better than other restaurants just around the corner. Close to Roma Termini rail station.

Great cozy little restaurant. Not too expensive, €8-€15, and great service. We even got some delicious entrees on the house!

They're also a butcher so you have the opportunity to try some unique meat dishes (bombettes) or stick to your pasta/cannelocan/lasagna favourites!

Oh my goodness! This past June we came to Rome to celebrate and stayed at the Hotel Sonya just nearby. One afternoon as we were to meet our tour guide, we quickly stopped in for a bite. Even for simple sandwiches, the food was delicious and the service delightful. The next evening we came in for dinner, and simply let the proprietor recommend the wines, the appetizers and the meals. We were SO THRILLED with everything, from the glorious red wine to the pasta and the breads and the final small glass of something fiery! What kind and friendly service, and what incredibly good food! We bought figs and crackers to take with us on our trip!

We came here on one of our last days in Italy. The service was top notch. I know it isn't customary to tip servers but I was compelled to leave one here. The house red is delicious. The food is delicious. It's a great layout being downstairs because you almost felt like you were in a wine cellar. Highly recommend if you have time in Roma.

Great service. Friendly and helpful staff and food wasnt too bad either. The prices are very affordable. Despite our poor attempts at Italian, luckily there was a waitress who spoke english whoncould explain the different dishes and had some great recommendations.

Very nice staff. Great menu and great food. Bread, olives and some fritter things included before you order. Vino casa rossa is tasty and inexpensive.

Pasta e salsiccia , special dish, and pasta fungo (Boletus edulis). Very good . Spent there our last evening with my wife. Fine guitar music and a very nice couple next to us :). Il servizio era eccellente

Excellent food and service. Good selection of wines. A great opportunity to taste the local cuisine. One can purchase traditional products, served here.
