Everything was great about this place. The staff was very friendly. The room was extremely clean with everything you might need and very warm considering how cold it gets outside. The shower was wonderful with very hot water. The breakfast included was superb. The restaurant on the premises was delicious and cozy. The location was amazing to explore the peninsula. And we got to see the Northern Lights.

Beautiful rooms which are lovely and warm and the food was amazing. We came in for a coffee mid afternoon (which was also really good) before staying there for the night and the staff were very helpful in pointing us to some of the better local landmarks even gave us a little map. Loved our stay and would highly recommend

This is a lovely hotel, which is clean, quiet and conveniently located to travel and sight see around the peninsula. The restaurant service is great and the food, including the breakfast buffet are fantastic - well worth it. I’d happily stay there again.

Exactly as advertised - the room was perfect for 1 night and the breakfast worth the money. Dinner was very good too. We loved the large walk in shower and the memory foam bed. Overall an amazing price for the experience.

The location of the hotel is ideal for anyone traveling around the Snaefellsnes peninsula. The accommodations are basic, clean, quiet. Service at the restaurant for breakfast and dinner is too notch. The dinner menu was fantastic. Best meal we had in Iceland. We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the presentation.

Spotted this little place and stopped by today on our way down South from Olafsvik.
We ordered Double shot Cappuccino, Swiss Mokka, Croissant and Cinnamon bun.
We enjoyed our quick coffee and snack stop. The staff was friendly and everything tasted good.

The Hotel Snaefellsnes is located at the junction of Route 56 and 54, and is about 2 hours NW of Rekyjavik. Everything about this hotel and the staff far exceeded our expectations and was our favorite over hotels 2 or 3 times the cost in Rekyjavik or Vik on our trip.

The hotel is very clean, bright, and cheerful, with a coffee and bakery setup when you walk in and a dining room to the left that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I had the best lamb shank ever the one night we were there--not just in Iceland, but anywhere. We stayed at the hotel for location to sites and also on the recommendation of Vivid Iceland. After checking in, we continued to Budir, the black church. The breakfast was laid out beautifully and was very good. The staff, knowing that we were hoping to see some auroras, came knocking on our door to let us know that they had suddenly come out (my app did not signal me but the staff did). The next morning we drove to Kirkjufell (both places are about a 1/2 hour from hotel) and we stopped on the way back to Rekyjavik.

I cannot recommend this hotel and their wonderful staff enough.

This restaurant truly had some of the best food I have had in Europe. Their Vegetable Gratin and Vegetable Ramen were just excellent. To add on to this, the staff was very friendly and their service was quick. Iceland truly does have the nicest people!

We didn't stay here but we did have lunch here. I had the seafood soup and the fish and chips. Both were quite good. Our son had a burger which he enjoyed and my wife had had something that was good. It was a good stop for a quick bite and the staff was very friendly.

This hotel is one of the most favorite hotel in our trip.

Large and cosy room with a coffee maker.

Super large parking lots with a “ON” EV Charger.

Already assigned table for breakfast is brilliant idea. Love it, even though I didn’t like the one you guy assigned for.😅😅😅.

Dropped in here for a pit-stop on our way to tour the peninsula and so glad we did. Wonderful friendly place, fabulous food, excellent coffee and a delightful ambiance. Didn't stay in the accommodation, but going by the cafe I'd be very happy to try it. It was so good we returned for another coffee and cake on the way back to Reykjavik. A credit to Iceland, and a wonderful addition to the holiday.
