Showers were hot, bathrooms clean and private, plus the common area with kitchen and electric kettle came in clutch. Highly recommend this camp spot. The farm is nestled just off the main road and is very picturesque.

Nice cottage, warm and cozy.
Good hot tub and a good view on the aurora borealis in the night (the bedroom windows face north 😉)

A big camping ground on private farm. There is a big common room with a lot of tables and couches to sit.
A kitchen area with a fridge, stove and sink.
There are 2 showers and 4 toilets.

Great campsite and excellent value at 3000isk per unit (no electric). Heated shower block with 3 showers and plenty of toilet facilities available. All clean and well maintained.

The campsite was fairly busy but not noisy or crowded, with lovely views of the river and sunset. A dark sky too... perfect for trying to glimpse the northern lights if you are lucky!

Location is brilliant - we parked here in the morning (free) to hike to the Eldbourg crater, and returned after a day exploring the Snaefellsness Peninsula to park overnight as we liked the views, facilities and big space!

Would return here, highly recommend!

We stayed here on 10/03/2023, and we were quite happy with this choice. Upon arrival, the camping site will be down on the left, but you need to cross the bridge in front of you to go pay at the second white house. It's 3000ISK for 2 persons and you can pay by card. The toilets are decently clean and have paper, and you don't pay extra for the very warm shower, which is a big plus. There's a kitchen with a table and seats, and some cutlery and equipment, also quite warm. A good experience, I would recommend.

Stayed here on Jan 5th, 2024 and it was great! Warm building near the sites with clean showers and toilets. A large kitchen with plenty of utensils as well. The road was well maintained and we just walked to the reception area across the bridge in the morning to pay as the app wasn’t working.

It is one of the best campsite I have been to in Iceland. You pay 3000 isk per unit, hot shower included. You can use big common space with kitchen and fridges. 3 big showers and toilets separately for men and women (3 ). Bathrooms are inside so even if you have to wait (I didn’t have to wait any single time), you will wait in nice warm space, not outside.

Big plus is the hiking to crater which starts here. We went for a walk after dinner and just got for sunset on the crater. Amazing!

Convenient overnight camping. Electricity available. Clean bathrooms and showers. Full kitchen with stove top and microwave including dishes and flatware. Close proximity to sheep and horses. Short 3km trail to a nearby inactive volcano. Would recommend and definitely stay again!

The Campsite can booked and payed online via Kreditcard on Parca.
Nice Campsite, close to the hiking track.
In the powerd Campsite has just one Power Box with 3x blue Sockets (one of them equipped with an converter to 5x black Connections). That means there is a lof of space but Limited Sockets.

Great campsite!! Only 3000 ISK per unit which was great for us because we were a campervan family of 5. Common area was clean and had lots of cooking supplies (pots and pans and kitchen utensils). Hot showers available as well. However the site is smaller than others and dining area got crowded during popular dinner and breakfast times.

A bonus is that it’s close to the Eldbourg crater for a short hike!

We went during the winter with a campervan.

The kitchen and showers were very good, everything was clean.

There was no plug to connect the van to electricity.

Stayed here two nights with a camper van end of March. The facilities are very good with three showers and a large communal space. However, just one kitchen so there was some queuing to cook in the evenings. Everything was clean and the other campers we met were friendly. It seems to be a place where many stop on their Ring Road trip if you don't want to miss out on the Snæfellsnes peninsula. I can also recommend the hike to the crater nearby but be prepared for mud and ice if visiting in the winter!
To pay, you have to go across the bridge to the last house and ring the bell. The family has a card reader inside so no need for cash

Wonderful place ! For only 2500kr /camper you have unlimited shower, clean toilets, common room with all the cook stuff you need, couches to rest...and the housekeeper is very friendly.
This has been our best camping experience in a 11 days road trip in Iceland.

An absolute hidden gem in terms of camping in this area. 3000 isk per unit (tent, car, campervan etc.) was a absolute bargain for us as there is three of us travelling. Reception from 8-21 I think, ringbell at the door. Huge community room with kitchen (stove, fridge, etc.), free showers, free toilets. Especially loads of sofas in the room was a huge revelation for us. 10/10 would recommend, definitely my favourite campsite so far. Not crowded.

We arrived very late at night but could have a warm shower in the morning. Great place to park our van and spent the night.

Great spot! Well equipped kitchen, warm and cozy common space. More suitable for campers and vans but it worked just fine for us with a tent as well!

Flat open range camping, open all season on a farm. Very nice people. Clean and plenty facilities.

The campsite is great, the main building has greater bathrooms, showers, kitchen and dining area. The view of the campsite is priceless, we loved staying there.

The only down side is that the reception is not good at all, there is no hospitality.
The person in charge of taking payments doesn't explain or indicate how the campsite works.

My husband and I learned where to pay and find things when reading other reviews.

Stayed at the campground and it just had everything you need, hot showers, nice grassy pitch, electricity, free and stable Wi-Fi, biiig like for the common room in the size of a dancing hall (former barn) with seven old but comfortable sofas and five long tables, each for about 20 people

We spent one night here at 09.06 with our camper van. Arrived late and paid in the morning before leaving. Price was 3000 ISK for one car, it is interesting because all the other places we visited was price per person. So if you are 2+ people, it is reasonably priced, but for single person it might be bit expensive.
Kitchen was big with lots of tables. And the owners seemed like nice people.
