Ishusid Pizzeria Restaurant

There is not plenty places to have a dinner at Höfn, but one of them was this place and our tour guider at glacier has recommended us this place. The restaurant was quite clean and the staff was very friendly and when it comes to the quality of pizzas, I need to say that I have eaten better pizzas, but the pizzas here were so delicious anyway. Maybe the best one at Höfn.

Absolutely love the pizza here, definitely the best pizza we have ever had in Iceland. We tried the 4 cheese pizza and absolutely love it. The crust was thin and crispy, the cheese was flavorful with great balance, and the toppings were fresh and generous. We also tried the meat lover pizza and the lobster soup, and both were also delicious. The lobster soup was creamy and rich, with some small lobster bite in it.

The staff were lovely and welcoming. The place is also easy to find, with plenty of free parking.

Overall, we had a wonderful experience. The pizza is delicious, the staff is great, and the location is convenient. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great pizza in Iceland!

I came with a mission, as I heard that Iceland have pizzas with jam as a side topping, so I found Ishusid served this dish. We loved the location the style of the exterior and interior and everything was really nice for a pleasant evening meal. The pizza was great with jam, and I would totally recommend.

The pizza was good, but I would 100% reccomend getting the cheese bread! It was our favorite part of the meal! The drinks are very good as well. One of the better mules I’ve had!

Pizza was super good. Not that many places to eat around, and the famous place next door didn’t let us dine there because they were “full”. So we decided to try this pizza place. To our surprise the pizza was super good. We had the 4 cheese, amazing taste.

Service with a smile! On the water with views of the boats in the harbor. Greeted at the door with a hello and a smile. The atmosphere is awesome! Very welcoming and stylish. Nice colorful throw pillows in the booths. The owner was there and was very friendly as well. The pizza was delicious. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful atmosphere near the port, fantastic pizza! We tried Hawaii pizza and Lobster pizza, we loved it. Service good, people are very sweet 🌺

I had some concerns when the pizzeria had a ship's anchor on the side of the building and also bragged about fish n chips, but the pizza was delicious! Really good Neapolitan-style pizza. Pretty expensive, but we had come to expect that in Iceland at this point in our journey.

Very good service. As soon as you walk through the door, there is someone to greet you and show you to your table. The place was quite full and it wasn't even a peak time when we visited them. I think this is an attestation to their popularity. The food was tasty and portion sizes were substantial. The crust of the pizza was just right and airy where it needed to be. My partner who had the fish and chips said that you could taste the freshness of the fish. There was also a potted plant of fresh basil on the table to add to your dish. I liked that small touch. It isn't exactly cheap, I think it's probably in line with Icelandic prices. For 1 simple Margherita pizza and an order of fish and chips, we paid over 50€. This did not include drinks. We are perhaps too used to prices in Germany.
Over all I'd say it was a good experience.

Recently came at this restaurant for supper.. Friendly staff member greeted us at the door and gave is the menu. You order and pay before you get the food.

Restaurant was a bit strange, because its a fancy restaurant (seems like it), but you serve yourself. I had to get my own refills on water, and had to get up at the counter to eat. Doesnt matter tho, I didnt have to leave a tip because I served myself.

Food was great, fresh, tasted very good.

I had a vegetarian pizza here during my trip and it was amazing. The hostesses are super friendly. Love this place! 2 minutes by car to the west, there is a nice sidewalk along the lake, you can take beautiful pictures with mountains and birds. Definitely recommended!

After a long day of driving and hiking, their pizza hit the spot. They have a good selection of pizzas and each pizza is a good portion if you decide to share. Order first and then grab a seat. The service was great and the food came out quick, which was nice. I got #4 Hawaii and finished the whole thing. Highly recommend if you're looking for quality pizza and a great atmosphere!

We stopped here to eat dinner and we absolutely loved it! The pizza was delicious and the cheesy breadsticks served with berry jam was beyond delicious. Also the Nutella dessert was incredible as well. Highly recommend this place!

very good food, would recommend lobster & lobster pizza

Amazing pizza place - my only negative point is that they are only open from 5pm to 9pm - 4hrs a day. I get it being in situated in a small town - them cheese breadsticks are just amazing. All of it is amazingly nice.

Fresh made pizza's in a quiet little harbor town. The interior looks good and the pizzas are nice and priced fair. Would recommend the BBQ Meat Lovers. Also the view over the harbor is really good

Mainly pizza, lobster soup and fish an chips on the menu. Small choice but all dishes are great. We tried the lobster soup and lobster pizza. Both fresh made, quickly served and great in taste.
Pricing is okay for Iceland. From the restaurant you have a nice view on the harbor.

Excellent pizza and salad in a quaint fishing town along the southern coast of Iceland. We were staying nearby for the evening and we were very happy with the food and service at Ishusid. They have a simple menu with a large variety of pizzas to choose from, along with a few salads.

Ishusid pizza offers a high quality, low-key meal in a vibrant atmosphere.

Best pizza place in the country. Honestly, the taste was better than most of the pizza places in EU.
