Beautiful scenery. The best campsite in our whole trip. The dinning area is spacious and very clean. Hot shower in the bathrooms and you can use the washing machine for an extra price. Definitely a must if you are going up north.

Beautiful place with amazing landscapes with trails nearby where you can explore. The campsite is located in a remote place and access can be difficult. The campsite has plenty of parking space.
Friendly staff and they make you feel that you’re at home. The toilets conditions are not the best, they are mixed and they only have two showers. The showers are free. The place has a brand new kitchen where you can cook and eat. Cute place with plenty of kitchen items. Totally recommended!

The place was great! Friendly staff and good service. We didn’t have any issues. They had a large common area where you can cook. The showers we fine too. The location is beautiful and if you are lucky, you might get to see the auroras ;)

Best campground on our ring road trip. The place is located 2 km from the ring road. The gravel road to the camp site is better than most other gravel roads and we managed to get up there with out campervan. The people there are very friendly and the toilets and showers are very clean. The highlight is the really big community room with all the necessary things.

We had no idea how much we’d adore this site but it was a top (and probably favorite) campsite. It was beautiful, peaceful, tranquil, restful and we would we have loved to camp here for days. And it was really simple yet so accommodating and hospitable. The cooking and dining facility was spacious and well equipped. And they even had an outdoor toy bin for kids with plenty of open areas to play. Serene

Amazing spot to see northern lights.
Very friendly and helpful receptionist. Unfortunately, there aren‘t enough showers and toilets (only 3) for the size of the campground. Nevertheless 5 stars for the kindness and the northern lights. 🌌
2000 ISK per adult without electricity.

It's my fourth camping site and this is clearly the best. Common area with microwaves, toasters, hot water and more. Shower and bathrooms. Haven't used the laundry but there is one!! I've been welcomed by Philip and martinez, great hosts ! Philip went outside in the rain to show me around and was very polite. My favorite camping site this far for sure.

Fantastic campsite secluded from ring road. Would stay here again. Clean showers, clean toilets, awesome dining area with two stoves to cook up a meal if you have your own cookware. Also had laundry, which was essential at this point in my trip. Stayed "across the river" in the grass field. Gentleman at reception made sure we knew where everything was and was available with any questions. Also free wifi that worked across the entire grounds.

Best campsite we stayed at in Iceland small, tucked away in a quiet spot in the mountains. The bathrooms were warm and clean. And the common area was huge and great for cooking.

One of our favorite campsites, you can do a small and easy river crossing at the campground for extra privacy. (There is a walking bridge back to the facilities). Owner was very nice and casual, gave simple tours to everyone.
Facilities were pretty busy by the later evening so if you need to shower, try to get there sooner. But the showers were private and bathrooms were very nice. Just no ‘gendered’ bathrooms, not a problem, but I’m sure someone would complain.
They seem to be adding more and more kitchen space which is really nice. When we went the washer and dryer were being repaired, but owner got them to work quickly and said he has new appliances coming and a few weeks.

This was a really good stop in an area with fewer options. Large, natural setting with very good facilities and helpful hosts. It was a treat to have an electric stove and even an oven so we made biscuits for breakfast. It was lovely to have trees, a river and a waterfall nearby instead of just a crowded field to camp in. Wifi was strong.

Great camping site! Washer and dryer (500isk to use), Three showers total, four to five bathrooms, three dish washing stations, two outside and one inside. They also have a common area building with a kitchen, electric stoves, coffee (espresso) maker, toaster and lots of outlets. The staff were very kind and fun. We had a wonderful time camping via our van here. 5/5. We didn't rent any rooms but they looked spacious and good from outside the windows.

Lovely campsite in a tranquil setting. The facilities are clean and well maintained.
There are 5 toliet/bathroom stalls and 3 showers. One bathroom/toliet has a shower in it together. The others are separate. The showers run off hot water tanks so it is possible to run out of hot water if you shower late after lots of people.
The common area building is the loveliest I've seen in Iceland. There are two stoves (8 total burners) and an oven. There are lots of tables and many have outlets available. There is a hot water kettle and toaster. There are no pots/pans out cooking it eating utensils available for use.
There is a washer and dryer for 500 ISK each, the best price I've seen in Iceland.

This was a great campsite to stay at! They had all the facilities we needed (bathrooms, showers, kitchen and even a grill!). They also have a really nice (large) common room (with a reindeer). In the kitchen there is a toaster, 2 water boilers and two ovens with a total of 8 spaces for pans. Expect to bring your own pots, pans and dishes. The view was really nice and I would highly recommend coming here.

Very good camping site.
WiFi internet connection is provided as the cell reception is very bad.
Rooms housing bathrooms and showers are heated, showers are housed in own rooms which is appreciated for privacy reasons, big common rooms with many tables and sufficient space between the tables.
Plenty of wall sockets to charge your electronic devices if you look around.

One of the best campsites we've been to. New facilities, hot showers, amazing kitchen room, heated toilets. Flat grassy areas to camp. Beautiful view and soothing sounds of a stream just a few meters away. 5 stars camping

Amazing campsite located in a beautiful spot. They have everything you need, hot showers included, laundry and dryer, a huge and warm space inside where you can cook and eat. The owners are lovely. Highly recommended!

Lovely campsite. Amazing view of the mountain. Free wifi, laundry service available (extra cost). Solo traveller and felt very safe.
Communal kitchen/dining area is a large wooden shed with stoves, kettles, toaster and some basic cooking utensils.
Only troublesome thing is sink is separate from the shed. It's in a separate smaller building just across.
Toilets and showers are clean.

Great campsite experience! The common area was very useful as it was raining and nice to take shelter in. The WC situation was a little crowded at times but not bad all things considered. The host was so nice and took the pleasure of stepping out of the office to point out all the amenities.
