Finna Hotel

After reading so many negative reviews, I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the stay was. The room is spacious and clean. Bathroom is small but very clean and gets the job done. Towels were soft and large. Some of the outlets had USB which was convenient. My only con for the stay is the slow draining shower and having to stand in 2 inches of water. Did not try the breakfast, looked like the standard continental breakfast. The price is great and the room is nicer than some of the hotels throughout Iceland that cost twice as much.

We had an amazing stay at the Finna Hotel while exploring the Westfjords on our bicycles. Kathy was incredibly kind and accommodating with our late night arrival and showed outstanding hospitality throughout our stay. The rooms were very cozy and clean and the breakfast served at the hotel was spectacular. We highly recommend staying at the Finna Hotel while visiting Holmavik! And opt for the breakfast as well, you will not regret it!

Thanks to a blizzard, we ended up spending an extra two nights here and we were glad it was in this lovely friendly hotel. The owners are very kind and helpful, even opening up the kitchen in the evening so we could prepare our own meals. Our room was beautiful, fully equipped so we could make our own tea and coffee, and had a great view of the ocean. We saw in other rooms too and they were also lovely.
As for the stairs up that someone complained about? I’m 63 & have arthritis. The stairs are fine. I had no problems with them at all. We highly recommend this hotel.

Great find! Within walking distance of everything in town, very helpful and friendly woman at check-in. Very clean and quite, has coffee/tea and kettle. Bathroom a decent size. Breakfast was great! Would for sure stay again next time I'm in the area. :)

Very nice hotel! We had everything we needed. The room is tidy and has even a coffee machine with two coffee capsules. The hairdryer is under the sink in the small cabinet. The staffs are very friendly and pleasant. Due to covid, there are three different time for breakfast. Everything is perfect and we would love to stay there again if we come back to visit.

We loved our stay here! The owner and her daughter were very welcoming... It had a cozy feel and sunny breakfast room. Our room #21 was large and had a beautiful fjord view.

Cute, comfy little place to stay. Extremely clean, quite, and comfortable.

Small guesthouse in the little town of Holmavik. We went there in May 2023 on our trip through Iceland and it became one of our favorites due to the kindness of Kathy (hotel manager) who gave us some great tips for the rest of our Iceland trip and prepared breakfast for us. Our room was nice, facing the coast. It was small (esp. the bathroom), but fine for two people, and had a mini fridge and kettle, as well as a TV. Everything was very clean. We spent 2 nights here and explored the Westfjords from Finna Hotel which we can definitely recommend.

Very cosy and extremely clean. We had a room with two windows overlooking the fiords, the views are amazing. Great wholesome breakfast and very friendly staff. I highly recommend this hotel.

This was a great place to stay. Within walking distance of the museum/restaurant and most everything. We would stay here again if we return this way.

Hotel con buona posizione per pernottare in vista di una vacanza nei fiordi occidentali.
La struttura non è recente ma in una buona posizione.
Camere dalle giuste dimensioni con possibilità di avere il bagno privato. Con un po' di fortuna si può godere di una bella vista sul porto e sul fiordo.
Colazione semplice e varia.
L'unica nota negativa è che c'è scarsa possibilità di parcheggio nelle vicinanze dell'hotel.

Nettes kleines Hotel, Zimmer klein aber gut ausreichend. Frühstück wurde in 2 Schichten angeboten, jeder hat gut Sitzplätze gehabt. Auch das Buffet wurde immer nachgefüllt. Alles in Allem eine Empfehlung!!

fijne hotel, goede prijzen. Aardige mevrouw achter de balie. Hadden mooi uitzicht op het water en konden vanuit het hotel nog een Minke whale spotten.
