Cars Iceland - Car Rental Iceland

Rented a Suzuki Vitara from Cars Iceland. I opted for the online check-in and collected my keys from a locker. Instructions were clear and easy to follow.

Upon picking up the car, I noticed a couple of dings here and there. Cross checking with the "damage" report that Cars had provided via the check in, the damages were already recorded down. That's a bonus.

Fuel was also near full tank and i could start my adventure right away!

Their website provides lots of useful information such as parking and road conditions. These are extremely useful stuff while navigating the drastic weather changes of Iceland.

Overall the car was excellent condition and I only hoped that the ice scraper could be slightly larger in size.

Returning of the car was also real easy. I just handed the keys over to the staff at the drop off and I was on my way.

Will definitely return to Cars Iceland!

We had a really great experience using Cars Iceland. The whole process was seamless from beginning to end. Our car was in excellent condition and was probably the most cost effective purchase of our whole trip.

Cars Iceland was great! The rental place is a two minute walk from the airport and they had the car waiting for me at 5am. Pick-up and drop-off was pleasant and quick. The Dacia Duster was in great shape and stout enough to not feel like it was going to get blown off the road when the notorious Iceland winds hit. Of the five times I've been to Iceland, this rental agency, car, and price, was by far the best. I will for sure be going back to them on my next visit.

The whole rental experience went really well.
The pick up took only 5 minutes and the return was even faster.
We had no complaints with the car as it did a great job driving us around Iceland. 4WD and studs helped a lot in snowy areas of the north.

We had the best experience with Cars Iceland. The location is easy for pick up and drop off. Rates were great. Dacia Duster was the perfect car for two adults and two tweens. Good luggage space. Also due to a flight cancellation easy process to add two days. Highly recommend!

Fantastic, easy, quick service and great communication from staff. I managed to double-book a Sat-Nav before we travelled. I emailed to ask about a refund and was immediately issued one.
Car was in excellent condition and perfect for what we needed. Drop-off was quick and easy, even thought it was at 4.30am. Great experience.

Both online and in-person interactions were always very polite, very useful and precise. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. The vehicle was very comfortable, perfect for four adults with luggage. It was very clean and almost brand new.

I recommend CarsIceland. We had a Toyota RAV4. The car was almost new and had no faults throughout our 14 day trip around Iceland. If you checked online, key from car will wait for you in the key box (office of Blue Car Rental, Keflavik airport). Return car after midnight was also without problem.

The service is great, I got several useful information, the car was very nice,... The important thing is that you can get everything in one place (unlimited internet, maps, insurance,...) Definitely will rent a car from them again!

It was easy to pick up the key, we arrived after 6pm but there were still employees in the office.
Car from 2020 but in excellent condition, sufficient for our needs. All information available on the website or explicit on the vehicle itself (care, fuel). The only information that should be more explicit (but it was there when checking in the vehicle by email, is the issue of paid parking!).
At the end, leave the car, hand over the keys and we won't take more than 2 minutes.
Easy and cheaper, top!

My experience with Cars Iceland was absolutely great. The car was the one we ordered. It was well equiped, clean and we had no problems with it. The service was excellent; it was easy to take out and to drop-off the car. All the people were smart, friendly and competent. We highly recommend Cars Iceland for renting a car in Iceland.

Our experience included different stages, such as booking, pick-up and drop-off of the car at KEF, 11 days of use in the Icelandic roads of an almost new car (Manual and petrol Dacia Duster 4x4), and also communication during the trip with the support staff. In everything, Cars Iceland responded in the best possible way.

After sending an email, I received a confirmation reply within a few minutes. The pick-up and drop-off location was also easy to reach. Highly recommended!

Easy pickup and drop off. You can check in online and then only need to pick up your keys. We had a tire leak and they were responsive and helpful with getting us to where we could repair our tire. Office is easy walking distance from terminal rather than waiting on the general drop off bus. Would rent with the company in the future.

Pickup and drop off was very easy. Quality of the SUV was great. I liked that we were able to pick up at the Reykjavik City Office and then drop off at the airport. We drove around the entire country and had a great time.

Cars Iceland answered many questions from us about car rentals as we planned our trip to Iceland. They were VERY quick to respond no matter what time I emailed them. This was all the more helpful because there is a six hour time difference compared with where we live.

We received exactly the vehicle we expected and had no problems with it.

They emailed ahead of time the instructions for where to go and how to pick up the vehicle in a completely contactless manner.

We would definitely recommend. Car rentals in Iceland are pricey no matter who you get them from. So getting the rental vehicle from a company that was super responsive with no surprises was a big plus.
