Easy to find location near the marina. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. I went for brunch on a Saturday and ordered the vegan surprise. It was basically a loaded avocado toast and potatoes and absolutely AMAZING. Highly recommend when you're in Reykjavik.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Reykjavik ... lovely atmosphere, friendly service and tasty, well made food with simple yet very nice presentation. The brunch menu has some great choices and I really liked the poached egg/spinach dish that I shared with a friend earlier today ( 30th December, 2020) ... 1/2 serving seen in the photos I'm sharing today. 😋 👍💕👍😋

An outstanding brunch location!

Takes a while to walk down to the harbour but it is absolutely worth it. The staff were incredibly friendly and let us chill inside before they opened as the weather was quite brutal.

Reasonably priced with amazing food and drinks. They offer a single vegan option "the vegan surprise". We had this and the breakfast burrito both were amazing. The vegan dish was designed as a vegan dish rather then removing non vegan elements and was incredible. They have a great drinks selection and we tried their beetroot mimosa which if you like beetroot is highly recommended.

The restaurant is very cosy with great interior and amazing bathrooms. Sounds weird but some of the best bathrooms I've seen in a restaurant.

Cozy and chic brunch spot serving beautifully scrambled eggs and omelettes that change daily, accompanied with a side of potatoes & bomb salsa and spongy sourdough bread (that I had to physically remove from my bf’s plate so he wouldn’t finish it). No reservations for brunch so come early!!

Amazing quality of food, the sour dough bread was super fresh, as was the rest of their ingredients for their 'omelette of the day'. The vibe is great for a chilled brunch with super hospitable and friendly staff, will definitely return in the future!

Really yummy food and drink. Their vegan surprise was grilled veg and falafel on thick toast with hummus. The green eggs and ham was creative and delicious as well.

Where hipster meets fine dining. Hipster atmosphere coupled with delicious fancy food. The place is small and cosy and is located in one of Reykjavik's hipest neighborhoods. Their brownie was super tasty and went quite well with the hot chocolate I ordered. Friendly English-speaking staff. They accept card payments.

The restaurant is in the Harbour area. They serve good brunch in weekends. We got omelette.
The rooms are filled with old stuff.

My favorite spot in Iceland. I took my friends here for a brunch and they loved it. The service was great (sorry we kept asking for stuff) and the food was also really good. The place itself is well decorated and really pretty. Their bathroom is also super cute lol. Located literally right by the harbor and Valdi’s and also near FlyOverIceland and the whale museum so if you’re into that this is the place to eat.

One of the best breakfast burritos I’ve ever had, and I’ve had around 7! Bloody Mary cocktails sorted us right out too after a night on the town. Lovely seating in the sun, friendly staff, cool decor - would highly recommend!

Excellent food, many vegetarian options Friendly and personable staff. Very reasonable prices. Not a tourist "hot spot" (locals frequent). I'll go back next time I'm in Iceland! Highly recommended.

Absolutely delicious! I had the eggs Florentine with a blue cheese sauce, perfect sour dough, and delicious greens. Reasonably priced drinks for Iceland. English spoken and English menus available. Very homey atmosphere. Can get quite crowded for brunch.

Small but pretty wheelchair friendly—there’s a metal ledge to get in (an inch or two high) that would require some help and a giant wheelchair accessible bathroom.

On a Friday night in there capital of Iceland as a vegetarian we had little hope to find dinner options until we landed on the aptly named Coocoos nest. It won't be unfair to say that we had one of the best pizzas of our life and vibe of the restaurant was so nice. Do not miss one meal here. Highly recommended. ( And the brownieeee)

Amazing. Seriously some of the best sourdough bread I've ever had...and I'm from San Francisco. My mom ordered the chef's omelette and I had the pancakes. Both fabulous but I'm of the opinion that there are two types of pancakes in the world: amazing one and everything else. These were the former, fluffy inside with just the right but of sour+sweet and, most important, the perfect crisp on the outside. The vibe of the restaurant was cozy chic and literally loved everything from the bathroom to the kitchen, especially the art. I'm clearly a tourist but grateful to have found a local's gem.

Maybe has a new name now, but was bloody lovely. Non-alcoholic cocktails were class. Amd the missus get smashed on some crowberry-based drink. Happy hour from 4, got free bruschetta, and I had some soup and it was so nice. My core body temperature nearly reached 34°C after that. Which was pleasant.

Small, quaint café. Only had coffee. Prices are very good for downtown Reykjavik. Didn't have food but everything did look scrumptious. Lovely place. Must visit.

We stopped here for a late brunch on a Sunday. We didn't have a reservation, but they happened to have an open table. The food was absolutely delicious and tasted so fresh. Our group had the breakfast burrito, eggs Florentine, and pancakes. We're visiting the city, but if we lived here, we would eat here often!

Highlight recommend the half soup and a sandwich, and their sour dough bread is to die for. I live relatively close by and stop in occasionally just to buy the bread, it's so good.

The place seems to be family owned, or is owned by a very attentive person, because the attention to detail and the consistency of food quality is always great.

If you're walking down by the old harbour, then this is certainly a place that you'll want to stop in for a snack or a quick meal.

Check out their soup options, absolutely fantastic!
