Nice affordable Indian restaurant! The staff is very kind. The food was prepared fresh so it took a little while. Both the meat and vegetarian options tasted very good. The garlic naan bread was great! The interior is cute and you can people-watch, but there aren’t many chairs. The music was great.

It’s good Indian restaurant but a bit overpriced, might be due to Iceland don’t know, limited seating capacity so will have to take out if more than 3-4persons, no other options left.
It’s 800-900 meters away from bus stop no. 10-12. Taste of the food was better. It’s good to carry local currency for the payment to avoid extra card transactions. Service was good. Cost for 2 person dining would be approx 4200+ isk (min).

Very tasty! My boyfriend and I got the Thali platter and the small courses plate to share and I loved it! All the food was very flavorful and the variety forced me to try new things that I wouldn't have on my own. The outside of the restaurant looks a bit scary with some graffiti on the windows and such, but the inside was clean and cozy, if maybe a bit small. I think the restaurant might be popular with the locals for carryout as there were only about 4 tables inside. Overall, I would definitely go back!

This is some really great Indian food. It’s great tasting and the Thali is great! We got one vegetarian and one with chicken with a chai tea. All the flavors were great and the portions were enough for 2 plus we had left overs for a late night snack. Definitely recommend :) also, they don’t have a public restroom and seating is very limited.

Simply love there indian food in the cold iceland. Absolute worth your money and much cheaper than restaurants around town. Special mention to the curries, pakoras(fritters)and lovely chai. Almost 2-3 days we went there and had money worth tastiest food possible in foriegn land. Thank you for making our taste buds intact.

Yummy Indian food for casual dining. They’re famous for their garlic ghee that they bottle up and sell in stores. If you’re serious about garlic naan, try their garlic ghee on the side of 1-2 orders of naan and you won’t be disappointed! “Chicken 65” is a great go-to dish for us!

We came in for dinner 2nd week of August. We were hungry and had read some of the negative reviews and were a little apprehensive. Well those worries were soon gone. The customer service was excellent. The food was so tasty and enjoyable. It was well presented. The prices were extremely reasonable for Reykjavik. We would heartily recommend this place for everyone and my family being vegetarians worked excellently. We would eat here again without hesitation

We tried both the take away restaurant and the fine dine one . Loved the fine dine experience . Food was great . Found it a bit expensive . The interiors are well done and the restaurant has a good vibe . It tastes like authentic Indian food . Apparently ex Indian president Dr APJ Abdul Kalam dined here . The restaurant also contributes to the upliftment of children in remote areas in India . Loved the noble idea .

Authentic Indian food. Excellent Thaali, both veg as well as non-veg are highly recommended. However the highlight was the kulfi. Best ever outside India. Quite reasonably priced for Reykjavik. Also liked the ambience and interiors have a very typical Indian vibe. Very friendly and passionate staff. Most of the server's are local's or european expats, however all the chefs are from India.

Didn't expect to find such great Indian food in Iceland, but the Dinner Thali was excellent all around, and a great way to get several tastes at once. The staff was friendly and the environment was laid back as well

I've been to more than 100 Indian restaurants in Europe, Hraðlestin is a really good restaurant. Only too expensive, but if you get water for free, that's fine.

Delicious Indian food, plenty of it to share if you have one of the offers between two! Particularly recommend the channa masala.
