Great place! We stayed just one night here, and had a good experience. The owner is very nice, and responsive to our questions over email. When we arrived he greeted us and made nice conversation, and gave us insight into the area, and about Iceland. He also warned us about the weather the next morning. The room was very nice, and restroom facilities down the hall were very clean and large in size. Fairly good location. We walked to dinner and all the way out to the port to explore the town.

One of my favorite places I stayed this trip. Nice view, and Stikkisholmur is awesome. The owner was funny and helpful, and we chatted about all kinds of things. I made several good friends with other guests. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, and we had a professionally-catered fresh Icelandic breakfast before I caught the ferry. Everything was tasty and authentic. For those wondering about the name, in English I think the literal translation is "Alma's Home-guesting". I could be wrong about that, but I thought I read that somewhere at the place. I would definitely go back!

Can't do any better if you plan on staying in town. The owner was very hospitable and the rooms are very cozy.

Carina, il proprietario è simpatico, gentile e cordiale..ci ha consigliAto un ristorantino davvero ottimo di fronte al porto.
La camera è pulita e accogliente, ci sono:
Lavatrice, microonde, asciugacapelli. Sul nostro piano (quattro camere da due a 4persone) ci sono due bagni e una doccia in comune.
Le scarpe si lasciano all'ingresso, come in tutte le guesthouse/ostelli islandesi.
C è un piccolo divano con tv.

Nette Eigentümer, die gerne Tipps zur Umgebung geben. Die Zimmer sind sauber, es gibt zwei WC und eine Dusche für vier Zimmer. Immer Flur gibt es eine Sitzgruppe sowie vor dem Haus eine Terrasse. Kochen ist nicht erlaubt, für kleine Mahlzeiten und Getränke ist eine Küchenzeile ohne Herd aber mit Geschirr und Microwelle vorhanden.
Das Guesthouse liegt ruhig direkt oberhalb des Fjordes. Frühstück ist okay und reichlich

Sehr nette Leute und Wahnsinns Aussicht nur unter den Bezug von kissen u.s.w. sollte man keinen Blick einwerfen.
