Service is lil bit slow.. Spacious.. They have 2 floors.. Mutton preparation is tasty.. But kanchalonka dhonepata murgi is not up to the mark.. Food portion is goodand price is also pocket friendly.. Nolengurer icecream is a showstopper ❤

We went for a family luncheon on my daughter's first birthday and we were all smiles after the food session. We had ilish thali, veg thali and daab chingri. It was finger licking delicious. 🥰a must visit.

Landed here for a quick meal and wanted to have some bengali cuisine. So in the interest of time landed in the thali version of 6 ballygunge. Chose to have kosha mangsho and luchi, betky paturi wrapped in mustard and Fish cutlet. All had some tinge of the history of the brand but surely prefer the main branches. Over all a good meal before the place got crowded.

What a awesome place it is to have some kolkata special thali with all the fish and masho. We loved kosho manghso with luchi, kalta roasted which have gravy on it, daab chingri(very unique), I just can’t get over the taste even after month. People do must try out this joint, it is a chain across kolkata and it is worth every single penny. It cost us around 1700 for three people and we all had quiet a amount of food. They have different options for Thali with only fish or only meat

Love every items be it veg ir non veg. My favourite combo is luchi and mutton kosha.

I had the pleasure of dining at 6 Ballygunge Place Thali recently and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. The Mutton- Bhetki thalis (625/-) were absolutely delicious, and the Nolen gurer ice cream (150/-) was a top notch dessert. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the staff were so friendly, and the food was simply outstanding. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

Quite good experience. Food was pretty good except mutton. Location was awesome. On Rajdanga Main Road, one stoppage before Acropolis Mall.

Good restaurant for a sumptuous Bengali lunch with Fish, Chicken or Mutton Thali options along with an array of different bengali dishes to choose from, all with adequate proportions. Service and food were great. Each thali is accompanied by a welcome drink (Gondhoraj Ghol) which tastes heavenly.

2. Chingri Thali (Prawns with shell)
3. Fish Fry (Boneless preparation)

✓Clean, hygienic and spacious place.
✓ You can reach here in a car the place is on a broad road. Easy access.
✓ Taste flavor and presentation of food is amazing.
✓ One can ask for boneless options.
✓ Even the mukhwas (mouth freshner) served at the end is amazing.
✓ A good place for a first timer.
✓ Kid Friendly place. Family diner.
✓ Amazing Vegetarians options available, as i had vegetarian dishes in Thali and they are also relishing.
✓ Tomato Chutney with papad and luchi is a delight.

When I think of Bengali non veg thali food, the first thing that comes to mind is 6 Baliganj Place Thali. Every items from Starter to Dessert Including Main Course are Top Notch. Mouthwatering Dab chingri, mutton kosha and nolen gurer icecream are incomparable. The stuffs are very professional and helpful. Also prices are affordable. If you are planning to have a bengali thali, I would suggest you to visit this restaurant with no second thought

One of the best food junction near kasba,we are mesmerized with the ambiance of the place,the restaurant stuffs were very polite and sober,their behaviour was very nice,the dishes were superb and very tasty,we tried bhetki thali ,and dab chingri which is the signature item of this place,do visit here to full your appetite

If you are a first time traveller to West Bengal and would like to relish the plethora of regional mouth-watering dishes that this state has to offer, then this restaurant is your ultimate destination. 6, Ballygunge Place is predominantly famous for it's Thalis. Here, you will get plenty of food options (Veg & Non-Veg) to choose, from their extensive menu. The restaurant's ambience is simply top-notch, although the sitting capacity is a tad less. I would definitely rate this restaurant as one of the topmost authentic Bengali cuisine restaurants in Kolkata. Recommended. 👍🏻

One of the best Bengali restaurant in Kolkata. This restaurant is dedicated for many kind of thalis . And alacarte food's quality top-notch for those price range.

Went there with my family to have lunch around 2:30pm and the place was quite packed up, maybe because it was weekend, so we had to wait outside for 15 mins.

Service was promt and staff were quite courteous. They asked us a few times if we needed anything else and if food was good.

Coming to the food, we had a bhetki thali (325 rs + GST) and two mutton thali (355 rs+ GST). Besides the non-veg item in the thali and the sweet of the day ( which was pantua today) you can repeat other items as many times as you like. Other items were common for both the type of thalis - Rice, Luchi, daal, vegetables of the day (for today- alur dom, doi potol, dhokar dalna), chutney, papad. All thalis come with a welcome drink (gondhoraj ghol).
Food was really great. Mutton pieces were tender and bhetki fish was fresh. The food was not very spicey and had that authentic Bengali touch.
Overall I really enjoyed my family lunch there and would definitely recommend it to everyone.

Probably one of the best places to have an authentic experience of a Bengali dish. The food feels like home cooked with the right mix of spices not too oily and not too spicy. The ambience is excellent and the decoration of the plate is something to look out for. There are different varieties of Thali along with side dishes.

Outstanding..... The food is very delicious.... And the portion is more than enough for one person..... All disehes are equally tasty.... But in weakends it is little crowdy.....sometimes You have to wait outside... So please keep this on mind...
