The vegetable and fruit market is good and you will get all types of vegetables and fruits.

Many types of shops are there in the supermarket. Lots of garment shops are there. The 1st floor mainly consists of garment shops, while the ground floor has mixed kind of shops. Grocery shops are in the back end of the ground floor. While you enter the supermarket from the front entrance, there is a book shop on the left alley. Just opposite that shop there is a small garment shop of Mukherjee da, which has a lots of variety of garments which are quite affordable in price and lots of options are there to choose from. Very friendly person, never gets annoyed or bored with the incessant query or showing his shop items.
In the underground of the supermarket there is a Bazaar which sells all raw vegetables, and also fish market is there. It is very much a super market. Outside the supermarket there are many types of shops, be it sweet shops, or garment shops, or other daily need item or grocery shops.

It's actually a very traditional bengali market where sellers are there for a long time. You can get everything at a very reasonable rate. The place is well maintained and tidy. We have been buying our things for from our known sellers and it's the relationship we have with them for a long time.
