8B Bus Stand is a crowded place because of Jadavpur University. It is well-known for Groups Adda's you will get tea, coffee, cold drinks streetfoods, etc. Coffee House is also there nearby. Very congested.

Jadavpur 8B Bus Terminus is a renowned place of south kolkata. It is very near to the Jadavpur University. Many buses start from here. This is a very lively place. There are many small shops, one or two restaurants etc. There is one pay and use washroom too. There are so many roadside eating places nearby. they are numerous. You can get all types of foods in this small roadside restaurants namely Chinese items like chowmein, fried rice, Chilie chicken, Momo, South Indian foods like idli Dosa border or aur other items like kachori, rice, fish curry, Khichdi, Rolls, fried items, sandwiches and what not.

It's my favourite bus terminus. A very big and expanded area to maintain a huge crowd. Many buses can be accommodated here. One of the greatest constructions by the West Bengal government. All the buses are well maintained and are quite punctual. They all maintain the timing really well. Great buses for office work. Fully AC modern furnished buses are available. The bus terminus is clean and contains a good sitting arrangement as well for anyone who wants to sit. And proper wide foot paths for line up for respective buses. You can also avail good items & snacks from the nearby shops. Overall I rate this 10/10.

In South Kolkata, most popular & important bus stop is Jadavpur 8B Bus Terminus. It is developed & maintained by West Bengal Transport Corporation. Toilet & sitting facilities is available here. All routed bus is arrived here. Mostly,
1) S31 & AC31 bus goes from 8B Bus Terminus to Behala Chowrasta via Tollygung Metro.
2) S9 & AC9 Bus goes from 8B Bus Terminus to Saltlake Karunamoyee Bus Stand.

Bus terminal (WBTC) is clear and chairs are available for waiting to your respective bus. We have to make a line for S9 bus (Jadavpur to Karunamoyee).

Both types of buses are available i.e AC and Non AC bus. Bus fare is affordable like Jadavpur to Karunamoyee you have to pay just rupees 10.

Good location, jadabpur railway station witing 1 kms but the way to jadab0ur station is very busy n beautyfull cozz lots of shops are their for just u may see lots of new things, good place on road located with good bus service for everywhere.
