Good place to visit clear and clear, full secured

Good beach to just feel warmth of sand and wet your feet in sea water. But there warning sign to not to swim here. Can collect lot of shells here. Nearby Streets are clean.

I have been to Pondy since I was a kid till I had my own. The place has transformed so
Much. In between there was definitely room for improvement, but now from cleanliness to tourist welcoming from security to police friendliness. This place is at another level. Definitely recommend this place for you and your family.

A HUMBLE REQUEST to anyone reading this review who's planning to go to the beach: Please carry an extra plastic or cloth bag to pick up your litter. DO NOT litter on the beach, it gives aquatic life an untimely death, and if that doesn't concern you, it spoils the place aesthetic. Please bring your garbage back with you and put it in the dustbins installed at various places along the beach.

I have an emotional connect with this beach, though everything cannot be said, it formed a major part of my Pondicherry stay. Seeing the sunrise was a major highlight, I saw couples getting emotional and people staring philosophically staring into the unknown. It's a small beach and can get really crowded around weekends and holidays, yet the vibe is like no where else and one really just has to give it a chance. Sit down and the beach won't let you go. Just take your beer cans and plastic packets with you when you do. A bath in the ocean would be a good idea too if you can handle the dirt. :)

I love that because when I saw a view for first time my mind relaxed and I had a new kind of experience, the environment was so fantastic, it is neat and clean ,it's good for to do meditation,yoga and exercise, it was totally fantastic and we enjoyed a lot

Beautiful beach and nice place to spend evening. One can visit this place early morning to see the sunrise. The view is amazing. The waves are good here and beach is neat and clean. Must enjoy the waves but don't go too deep. One can also explore Rock beach, Promenade beach, French Colony. All these are nearby.

This beach is too good and beautiful. Its clean and well maintained , so please help to restore it for next persons. I went during march and it was not crowded and the temperature was also not too high. The waves are strong , so be careful while entering the sea.

Excellent beach. Its clean and the sea is very near. The sea level has risen so that the shore has shrunken. Evenings are for just walking.. No vehicles are permitted, not even cycles. The entire beach road is just for family times.

The sunrise is splendid mor morning walks, meditation, yoga..

absoulutely cleanest place. I was very much impressed with the white town and beach is adjacent to white town, Puducherry beach is very clean and tidy. It's very much cleaner compared to most of the beaches around India. It has good coffee outlets on the beach. must visit place. you can rent out scooter just for 300 rs

Water current is very high but we enjoyed a lot.
This is a public beach which is accessible by everyone.
Water was bit dirty but felt ok. Beach is clean but I feel local government should provide washroom and change rooms for visitors.
One best thing which I observed was safety guards were deployed and they were continuously requesting peoples to stop to go too deep inside sea

This is also one of the best beaches not to be missed . It should be visited in evening as it becomes so hot in the afternoon. You can click some amazing pictures with your partner. I had a ball of time witnessing some amazing beautiful wall arts and bulidings. Overall a nice place to enjoy with friends and have a great time..

Beautiful place !!. Best time to visit is Morning 6.30 to 8 and Evening 4.30 to 6 . Go for a walk you get peace. Best place to relax in pondicherry. Beach is near and clean. Many shops are available near to the beach.

One of the best beaches in South India. It has an amazing view and it's happening place you will feel very much relax after you take a short walk in the promenade. The rock beach structures for around 2 kilometres. It is a must see place in your itinerary

If you love to do meditation in morning and to do exercise then according to me it is a very good place. It is a very peaceful area. But if u will come after 9 o clock in morning then u have to bring an umbrella also bczz climate is very hot nearby the beaches.

Awesome beach.... Try to ride jet boat , will coast more but worth each penny , also try jet ski at beach ... It's awesome... At beach try to reach in early morning or afternoon 2 o clock in afternoon so won't get sun burn ... Awesome place ... Also try beach rain dance facility .... Try to avoid food there ... Not gud ... Please take some snacks & food ... With u ...

A nice and serene beach to spend time with friends and family. There is no access to the water but its very pleasant to just sit and enjoy the waves. Visit especially during for sunrise and sunsets. Its marvelous.

It is a nice place to visit especially in the mornings for sunrise. Facing the beach is a road that serves to be a home for many hotels and restaurants. You can just walk besides the beach and it really feels good. It is similar to Marine Drive in Munbai. There are various variety of food options that you can try nearby. The roads are closed in evening for bikes and cars. Only pedestrians are allowed during those hours. It is the heart of puducherry. Loved it.

Best and lively place in whole pondy , just love the Atmos here. Stress buster for many people very good for walking. Peaceful place , we should treasure it. Very Highly recommended. Don't miss the sunrise here.
