Le Café is a must visit place when in Pondicherry. The best thing about this place is they have 24*7 service. The upper sitting area has a better view but the lower area is equally breezy and calm. The prices are reasonable and the food quality and quantity both are really good. They have self service dining but it doesn't matter since the service is quick. I'm going to this place for my breakfast from the very first day of my Pondicherry Trip. The cool fresh air and sound of sea waves while having a super scrumptious French Breakfast/Brunch and sipping your favourite cuppa coffee is absolutely breathtaking!

Beautiful ambience and good tasting food. Quiet place to simply hangout and spend some quiet time beside the sea. The place was under renovation when we visited and self service opion was available. It was lile a small shack serving good and tasty snack items. Tasted vegetarian sandwich and a lemonade.

Loved the experience here.This place is located just on the beach . It's open 24*7.If you get a seat at the top deck then nothing like it.Its majorly a self service restaurant which is located on the ground floor where you can pay first and then self serve yourself and take your food items at the upper deck.At the upper deck their is a wood fired pizza shop.The wood fire pizza specially the non veg ones are good(don't expect some fancy cheese pull stuff).The cold coffee over there is amazing and goes well with their wood fired pizza.

We were simply roaming on the rock beach taking photos and enjoying the sea breeze. Suddenly we came across this place and i saw this cafe in a youtube so we decided to try this place. We decided to have a lasagna a dish that i heard many times and haven't tried. We ordered a tuna lasagna a dish with good quantity and great taste i had for the first time. The taste felt similar to a pizza with the cheese and the tuna inside it. It was a sea side restaurant and the food tasted great with the breeze. I thought the price was high but compared to the other restaurants i went this place offered good quantity at a reasonable price. Must try place. Once i left Puducherry i regretted that i should also had tried some other dishes with it. But i would try some other dishes the next time i come here. I would definitely recommend this place for others. You can sit relax and enjoy your food.

Located at Rock Beach, Very lovely ambience to experience lite snack by the beach. Cafe was very neat and clean.

It's self service but great food and definitely a great sea view. Right now it's under construction so they are operating from a temporary place just next to it.

Atmosphere is good. Best place to have coffee near rock beach. The price is little expensive but worth to try it. Best place to have coffee is the morning when sun is rising and the evening time. The seat arrangement is good. Best view of beach from the cafe. This place was the port when the French ruling period. Then they changed it to cafe. Still you can see some of the photos of the old port in the cafe. Still they are following the heritage. And the putting items also good.

A very affordable restaurant by the beach, run by the Tourism Dept. The location is very strategic as it's just beside the sea on the Promenade. They serve some really good. French cuisine. Food was not that awesome but still value for money and ambience.

Le café is the cutest little restaurant situated just on the shore with an amazing view. chicken lasagna and coffee were the best. Pizza tasted little bland. Their prices are 3/5. Finding a table might be difficult but the wait is worth it.

It's French colonial port office converted to an artistic cafe. The vibes of the port office are still there with broken piers and original office structure.Very authentic continental breakfast place. Well trained and helpful staff. Kudos to Pondi authority for maintaining this vintage property.

Awesome place..U can enjoy beach side view with a cup of amazing coffee here. They do serve also some beautiful snacks. Chicken 3 tier sandwich is a must try there😉

Great place. Great food. If you are there, don't miss their hot chocolate, it's amazing. Open 24×7. Because it's in the centre of the beach, you can go for a walk always.
