Botanical Garden

Nice place to see. The small toy train was the centre of attraction. It took 15 mins for the ride and the charge was reasonable of Rs.20. I enjoyed the ride. There were too many trees so the atmosphere was pleasant.

Loved the greenery very much. I went on Monday morning, so less number of people. The garden looks beautiful. On weekends train ride, musical fountain like attractions are available. Green house, tree house etc are also there. Nice and beautiful place to hang out.

Botanical Garden very beautiful greeny place,childrens are all enjoyed verymuch,you can see for very old trees in this place,kids like more much.

Must visit place in Pondicherry. Awesome toy train 🚂 and good greenary u can chill out here. Entrance fee is 10 rs and extra 10 rs each to go for train ride and aquariums visit. You will find different varieties of fishes and you will love it. Enjoy toy train ride . My fav was electric eil fish here

Nice place to relax in the hot sun of Puducherry. It has a nice aquarium with varieties of fishes. There is a joy train ride to roam around the garden.

A great place for families with children to come and play, there is also a small train facility, where you can enjoy the train service .☺

Decided to spend some time waiting for my family at the botanical garden with my son. We enjoyed the children's play area, big beautiful trees and the aquarium. The play area is well kept and neat, my son loved the twisted slide. I loved the various plants and trees maintained. Had to go one more time to enjoy the plants. The aquarium was a surprise for me with various varieties of fishes and well maintained name boards. There's a lawn area too to relax. A great place to relax and spend time with family :) Well maintained but the weather was so humid due to summer which made us sweat a lot.

A popular tourist attraction of Pondicherry, Botanical Garden was established by C.S. Perrotet in the year 1862. The garden is home to several exotic varieties of rare plants as well as an aquarium.

The children's play area, is awesome. The toy train is a must try for kids as well as adults.. there are so many big trees in here and the lawn area is well maintained. The aquarium is average..A great place to spend time... Nominal entrance fee only.. restroom is not good..

Went after a long time and happy to see that it's maintained very well. Toy train is functional. It costs 20rs for adult entry fee. Train and aquarium entries are 10rs for adults each. Aquarium has a wide varieties of fishes and turtle. Well maintained park area and equipments. Its a kinda must visit place on everyday evening if you have kids at home. There are jogging tracks as well. As users we do have responsibility to maintain cleanliness of the park.

Really love this place. Because inside the park you miss the entire outside world why means your eyes only looking for greenish area and flower and plant 🌲. They have lot of kids enjoyable innovative plans implemented. Really amazing. Fish aquarium and flower exhibition and local mini train and glass house lots of places are there. Everyone visit their place.

Wonderful ambience.. totally green well maintained park ..toy train is not working recently...and the restaurant. But you can bring food from home and have with family. We went as a visitor..not staying in pondicherry..great place for photoshoot. Fish aquarium also so beautiful..

The entry fee is 20 per head in the aquarium.
The species of are mostly which I have seen in pet fish shops. Maintenance is good i think.

I know Botanical Garden since my childhood. Nice play to have a quiet evening. You can witness plenty of big tress. Jogging path also available. One small lotus pond.
