Last week me and my friends visited this temple.This temple is it is situated in the heart of Puducherry town.The temple's architecture is a masterpiece, blending intricate details, vibrant colors, and timeless design. It's a testament to the rich cultural heritage of the region.
As soon as you enter the temple premises, you're enveloped in a serene and tranquil atmosphere. The temples atmosphere making the visit a pleasant and enlightening experience.I had a different experience from other temple because the temple architecture and painting are light up more attractive.it is a blended modern and old Tamil architecture.Learning about the history and cultural significance of the temple added depth to the visit. It's not just a religious site but a place of cultural importance.The temple was well-maintained, and cleanliness was evident throughout the premises, which enhances the overall experience.The temple tends to get crowded, especially during festivals and holidays, which can affect the peacefulness. Visit during off-peak hours for a more serene experience.

A truly enchanting experience.
From the moment I stepped foot into the temple premises, I was enveloped in a sense of peace and serenity that is truly rare to find.
The temple's architecture is a blend of traditional and contemporary styles, which gives it a unique and inviting ambiance.
The intricate carvings on the walls and the vibrant colors used in the decorations add to the visual appeal of the temple.
As I walked around the complex, I couldn't help but be in awe of the attention to detail that went into every aspect of its design.
The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the main sanctum where the magnificent idol of Lord Ganesha is enshrined.

Beautiful temple from inside and there is a restriction on camera inside the temple.
But what imports are inside the temple are those pictures which are painted on the top wall and also very attractive.

Also so many Ganesh avatar statues inside it.
I visited 2times in my life .

I am sad I couldn’t click pictures inside and the pictures don’t even do justice to the peace and serenity this place offers. I am so much in love with this place. The heart rate automatically just calms down and your heart is full. It was crowded but no one pushed or hurried you to do the Darshan. The pandits were so nice and happy. Unfortunately Laxmi, the elephant had passed away and I couldn’t get her Darshan but still this place is just not to be missed during your pondi trip.

It is centrally located about 50 meters from famous Aurobindo Ashram. The carvings on walls are very beautiful. Just outside temple there is elephant Laxmi which gives blessings on head if you feed her or give her a 10 rupee note. It is a major attraction with all visitors irrespective of age. Luckily it was not crowded when we visited in the morning.

Located in the center of the city, there is no proper car parking but we can park on the road side as I have gone on weekdays I haven't seen any problem with parking and crowds but sure it will be a problem for parking on weekends.
Good and small temple try Panchamukha Sri Anjaneya Temple which is located at 20 mins drive from pondy such a beautiful temple and you can see 100 feet of Hanuman statue there do visit that temple also.

What a beautiful temple. Incredible energy inside. I was lucky to be there during a puja. I also got some little food. Definitely worth a visit.

Hindu religious place. Sri Ganpati Bappa is placed in the temple. It is a Ganesha temple in the union territory of Puducherry,India dedicated to the God Ganesha. It is popular pilgrims dite and tourists destination in Puducherry.The temple is of considerable antiquity.

This temple is dedicated to Lord Vinayska or Ganapati. You can see different forms of Ganapati over there. It is a beautiful temple. Entry is free.

We went there during our vacation trip to Pondicherry. I saw variety of people in this place regardless their religion. Postive vibes. It's situated in the most happening place of pondicherry. More than a temple it became a tourist spot!

One of my favourite temples in pondicherry, the interior design and photos are very nice. You can find different avatars of lord Ganesh in the walls inside the temple.

They are providing free Prasad to first 100 people first cum first basis. For the Prasad you have to collect coupon on 11.30 Am daily. And the Prasad will distribute on 12 PM onward.

A must place to visit in pondy.
Very clean place. Lot of paintings of lord ganesha and can see various types of ganesha embossed in the ceilings.

We can see standing ganesha in the temple, for whom the abhisheka is performed.

Very nice and beautiful temple with artistic walls all around. Its a very huge temple. It is temporary closed in the afternoon and it opens again at 4 pm until 9 pm. The entrance was grand and a giant painting will encompass you all over the top. Inside the temple there are paintings from different regions pan India and other countries to depict the different varieties of the Ganesha stories and the ideology that existed in that particular era. The temple is sirine and calm with properly managed queuing within. Atleast 500 people can sit in the temple. Definitely worth a visit and you can spend a minimum of 30 minutes in the temple admiring its beauty. Note: Photos not allowed inside the temple.

Main point is temple is neatly maintained. Rest room available outside temple which is neatly maintaine. Paid n unpaid slipper racks area available. 1pair rent 2rs.
All the day through u will get prasadam, anna dhanam. Only request to visitors is place have proper dress code when coming to temple.

A very nice Ganesha temple to visit in the vicinity of White Town. Would definitely recommend if one visits to pondicherry.

Beautiful temple with old architecture and story told on its walls. Big fan- beware of lotus sellers and they might up charge in the name of offerings

A small, clean and my favourite temple in Pondicherry. This place is always special because of the way they maintain it clean, align crowd decently. You must go here in morning times to feel the energy. There are flower shops outside, you may buy some or ignore - no one pressure us like other temples. Parking is difficult, you have to park in other streets.

12 km from our resort... Our first visit as per itinerary was the temple , Ganesha temple surrounded by flower shops filled with Lotus and Bermuda grass completely crowded on Friday.. small ideal decorated with gold ornaments .. Alangaram was extraordinary took an archana ticket and got blessings from the god and joined in blessings a new wedded couple. Paromenade beach is situated just 500 meters away from the temple... The weather was so pleasant when we visited, popsicles are very costly... 80 rs ... Please visit and enjoy your stay at pondicherry.....

This temple dates back roughly 500 years. Upon visiting, apart from the commercial aspect outside, the place is a absolute melting pot for Ganesh or Vinayagar in different forms. One can see Ganesh in all yhenforms depicted in Hindu scriptures.

The entrance of the had things made from concrete and paint, upon entering, once can see the legacy of the place that the outside does no justice. The pillars are carved in black ignacious rocks and to perfection. The facial patterns carved in evey status represent and individual.

Lastly, photography inside the temple is not permitted.
