The nostalgia was THAT the old staff was the bunch I preferred. This staffbis quite new and would take some time to settle down.
Additionally, the 🇨🇳 regulations increased the scrutiny by asking a lot of documents but the visa centre really makes it easy. 🥳

It's convenient for travellers who choose to attain their Chinese Visa, simple process if you have all the documentation.

They are closed on Fridays.

9th March 2023, from this week they’re open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. I applied for a visa today and the staff were amazing. Get your documents checked before you go up, make sure it’s all sorted. There’s a printing place downstairs in the “basement”. You have to leave your bag outside and only take in your documents. After they take and process your application, you pay at window one, and pick up your visa the following week.

I heard that this place is very professional and quick in terms of its services and found it too.
The place is very well maintained, neat and clean (obviously since it is a Visa center). Services are quick, My application was submitted within 5-10 mins and the waiting time was also very less.
After applying for visa I received my confirmation in couple of days so Yes the services are indeed very fast. Staffs are supportive.

Staff is quick, efficient and helpful. Phones cannot be used inside. However, wait times may be long for normal applicants since express applicants are given first priority. There is a comfortable waiting area for applicants and visitors.

I arrived on a Wednesday at 10:30am. There were about 20 people inside submitting applications for visas.
There were about five people working accepting the applications. My clerk was an Indian lady who spoke perfect English and was very efficient in helping me with the application.
She sent me to a nearby photo shop to retake my picture. When I returned, she handled my application again. It didn't take very long for completing the paperwork. She told me how to answer the open ended questions on the application.
I asked for the normal processing time which takes four business days. I'll pick up my visa on Monday.
Very plesant experience.

Satisfactory service. But beware of some things
1. Take the photos specifications seriously. Ask the photos shop to print exactly what length and width is given and 80 % of face should be needed.otherwise there will be a problem.
You can find very few photos studio nearby.search in Google maps to find a near by photographer.
2. for seminar ask the invitor to give invitation letter in there letetr pad. otherwise you have to return empty hand.
3. Colour print out of invitation letter is accepted.
There are very few photos copy shop so .keep your application print out in advance.

Thursday Open only. Better to take appointment 1st. For students (X1 visa) Original Campus returning letter required.

All staff had very good behaviour.

So this is where you actually apply for visa (tourist) the staff where so helpful and processed everything very quickly, also when some stuff needed to be altered to acquire our visa the staff openly helped us. Express was very smooth and we got our visa the next day. Also on a separate note if you didn't bring enough money as you can't pay by card, instead of turning left inside the building to get to the visa center if you turn right and go out side there are lots of ATM's.

From South Kolkata you can take C8 bus, get down to the Nalban stop. Only few minutes walk as someone said. Staffs are very friendly. Call them before visiting for the authentic information regarding what documents to carry with you. There are no copier or printer at their office, but conveniently located within few minutes walk (as they told me), although I didn’t need to use, as I carried everything as per their suggestion.

Very good and supportive staff....Even there is a local chinese lady to support for local queries..The visa application process is very smooth. They only accept cash.

The ratings for this place are definitely correct. The service is excellent and hassle free. They assisted me a lot in getting documents right for the express visa I applied for. I got my visa next morning.

I have applied for China Express Visa , i got the visa next working day , it was excellent service , but too expensive. Total charges for single entry as tourist visa it is about Rs 8100 . But I suggest to the China visa service center to Operater there working in Saturday . And timing of application for express visa should be till 2pm .
