Grand Hotel D' Europe

The room is beautiful with exquisite teak furniture. Well located in the French district, this hotel offers accessibility to the major sites in Pondicherry. The service in the restaurant is very good. The food is typical of India, everything is delicious but the menu is the same as everywhere else.

Our go to stay at Pondicherry. It’s a French style hotel, very clean and neat. Hotel is at great location, near the beach and all hotspots of the town. Hotel staffs are all very helpful and great, and restaurant has great ambience, food. Breakfast is especially great.

Room was spacious and had all the amenities, the dressing/closet area was my favorite part. The Hotel policies were explained clearly and they are environment friendly in their approach.

Will recommend this place for families, easy access to nearby attractions and safety.
Special mention for Diana who checked us in, Manager Dinesh who coordinated reservations and Food Manager Murugan.

Service, attention to detail are to be commended.
Shout out for the restaurant manager Mr. Murgugananthan who showed us to try the Red bananas which was delicious. The staff is so attentive to our needs. Great boutique hotel! Delicious food!

I loved this stay, it’s very close to the rock beach and all the good eateries.
Breakfast was good and was included in the booking amount.
Rooms are spacious enough and comes equipped with all the necessary amenities.
Swimming pool is a bit small but very well maintained.
Parking is available, either on the road right outside the property or 50 mtrs away, in their closed private parking property.
I would recommend this to anyone who wants a stay in White town.

We had a very pleasant stay here. The breakfast, lunch, dinner everything is great. All places and cafes are walkable from here. The main plus is the rooms are massive

Had a 3 day stay at Grand Hotel D' Europe. The stay was really nice. The hotel is inside the white town with all major cafes, flea market, beaches and tourist attractions in close vicinity. You could take a stroll around the white town and the beaches as these are nearby. Found the surroundings to be cleaner than its counterparts. The rooms are clean and are very beautiful quite unlike the pictures available online.The food was great and I suggest go for the seafood curries and French onion soup.

The food here is good. The ambience is also pleasant. Waiter vasanth was very kind. We liked his service.

A nice place to stay in White Town, given the space constraints in the area . Quite near the promenade - it's just a 3 minute walk.

Rooms and facilities are well maintained. Decent breakfast. Kids loved the pool. Car parking was well handled by the valet, always around and helpful. Overall quite happy with the 2 days' stay.

Lovely quaint place with excellent service and spacious rooms. The food needs a special mention. The menu is not very extensive but all preparations are excellent!

rooms are very good well maintained service was awesome. car parking is bit problem but that too will taken care by hotel management for you.

the pasta was too delicious but the hipster pizza gave a burnt taste

Beautiful property! Old world charm with all the luxuries of modern world! The rooms are beautifully done. Missed a bathtub which would have been a wonderful addition to an already excellent room. Service & food is great. It's at the heart of white town and you can walk to any of the local attractions easily. They can also arrange cabs for you for local tours. We booked a cab through them to visit Auroville and the experience was seamless.

Would definitely recommend this Hotel to anyone looking for a wonderful stay in Pondicherry!

Nice place to chill out with family,
Best ambience and pleasant atmosphere.
When comes to food I really enjoyed the pizza's and pasta even steak was much better...
Even the service staffs are more polite.
Overall it was a nice experience for me.

Absolutely beautiful rooms - spacious. Four poster beds. Colorful bathroom. Service is slow but that's Pondicherry. Pizza is really great. Small clean pool. Fabulous terrace - specially in the cool season. Not cheap, but some value for the money. Does have a parking space nearby ( get the security to come and open it)
