Le Dupleix

I recently stayed at Le Dupleix during my visit to Pondicherry and I have fallen in love with this place! The room was so gorgeous, the interiors and the balcony space was just fantastic. We had a nice private seating area outside, which was super nice. The staff were so kind and generous, especially Aishwarya. She was really sweet and helped us tremendously during our stay. And the bartender, I believe his name is Aashith, delivered some fantastic drinks during lunch/dinner. Overall, this beautiful Manor has my heart and I am very excited to visit them again!

I had a dinner last day and that was an awful experience. And mainly I was so touched by their service especially by your manager Aswathy. she is so friendly and highly responsible.. She is very good at managing customers and I dont feel any awkwardness by having a conversation with her. The food and atmosphere was also so amazing..I highly recommend this one for everyone.

Had the most amazing dinner experience here. Unbeatable ambience and food. The service of the staff deserves a special mention; manager Aswathy very patiently walked us through the menu and suggested the most appropriate dish on the menu based on our taste. Two thumbs up!

Property is exquisite. We only stayed for lunch. The food preparation is quite premium and worth the price. Perfect place for a fancy lunch in Pondicherry, better than some other overrated cafes.

This is the best heritage type of stay in white town. Though a bit costly, but can be consider in luxurious stay category and trust me its worth the money.
The service is good, their staff is so humble and kind with the guesta. Special thanks to Simran, Tanya, Aswathi and others as well for their service. Food is yummy and the ambience is too good, specially for date nights.

We stayed in this lovely hotel for 4 nights. Our original room was up four flights of stairs, but when I explained my knee was injured and asked for a room downstairs, one was available the next day. The room we stayed in was gorgeous. Spacious and best of all on the same level as the restaurant and only a few steps down to the entrance. The hotel is in the White Town part of Pondicherry, it was easy to get around the town, walking and via auto rickshaws.
The food we had was delicious, and the staff were lovely. There was often a bit of wait time for our meals especially over the festival days around Pongal.
However, the housekeeping lady, Padmini was very efficient and the waitstaff at breakfast and in the restaurant went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful stay. A special mention must be made of Aishwarya, who made the effort of dressing in a traditional sari on the last Pongal night. She looked stunning, thank you for this extra effort, I know it must have made waiting tables more difficult. 🙏

Really awesome. Rooms were great. Food was awesome but the big kudos goes to the staff. Right from reception to restaurant people to room service, never seen so humble, friendly and always helping with smoke folks. Just 200 meters from beach

Visited the restaurant - we went early before it was busy and the food and service were very good.

Appetisers were tasty, but the stand out meals were our mains - Miso fish and the tenderloin, which was one of the best beef dishes I’ve ever had.

Shout out to Aswathy who was serving us, she was very friendly and gave good recommendations both for the food we had at Le Dupleix and for other places to try while in Puducherry - thank you!

We had a wonderful experience in our visit to this place. Aswathi and Aishu were our captains and they gave us a friendly service and made sure we felt like home..! Truly a wonderful experience, would definitely recommend for must visit during Pondy trip.! Food and ambience was great..! Pasta is a must try..!

Loved the dinner at this place. Absolutely beautiful place. Loved the history lesson the hotel manager Pradeep gave us (who was also incredibly nice). The menu is solid and the drinks are great too.

Smiling greeting staff. Service little slow in peak rush dinner time though.. food excellent. Great drinks. Little expensive as compared to nearby cafes but quality of food makes it worth it.

Had a lovely time here! Everything was top notch. Friendly and impeccable service. The restaurant had a good choice of dishes, delicious and authentic. On top of that, the Instagram worthy ambience and the rich history of Le Dupleix just made our vacation more memorable. Aswathi and Ana provided great service.

Ordered a veg bruschetta and pasta. Both tasted great. Anna's service was exceptional!
It would be great if more vegetarian options could be added to the menu though.
Look forward to returning and finding a more elaborate vegetarian menu :)

The hotel has spacious rooms with a heritage look and feel with good service.
Well decorated ambience of the banquet.
Top attractions of the city are nearby.

We are pure vegetarians but ae found nice options, definitely recommend it to go if you want a decent and romantic ambiance

Great boutique hotel in White Town. I only went there for a meal and so cannot comment on the rooms. Food was excellent, service was friendly and quick. This is a part of hi design and they definitely have made this property beautiful.

Had dinner , it was awesome. Specially want to mention Yamuna , who did the reservation for us and served delicious food . Great hospitality, will give 5 stars .

We really appreciate the hospitality extended to us from Aswathy. She helped us to select the best menu according to our taste. We felt at home. The total ambience and service are worth the value paid.

We were cafe hopping in Pondicherry and decided to have dinner from Le Dupleix. We tried their Lobster and sea food platter. The food was delicious. The place was tastefully decked up. The ambience was very cosy and impressive. I should mention the impeccable service provided by the staff. Ashwathy and Jibin were very friendly and welcoming.
