I don’t think you can get a better deal than this for the price.

Really lovely architecture on the inside and the outside. All kept really well cleaned.

The showers have heating (at least in the room I had) and some of them have small open window balcony’s which is amazing in the heat.

Staff are sweet and the ambience is peace and quiet.

If this place has a free room, I recommend you take it.

I stayed here with my partner last October during my first visit to Pondicherry and had an amazing experience. The staff was very sweet and welcoming, especially the manager Roshan who was very accommodative and took care of all our requests. We had the rooftop apartment, which is arguably the best room there, we had our own private terrace. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. It seems to be an old Tamil house remodelled into a guest house with all modern amenities, most of the rooms are named after towns in various parts of the country. It's in White Town and everything is within a walking distance unless you're going somewhere out of town. I would love to stay here again!

Before i share my experience of my stay at Les comptoirs, i must mention that i have stayed at hotels in European countries and i was impressed by the standard of quality and hospitality followed there. I stayed at this property for two nights in March 2019. If i were to rate this property out of 5 stars i would give 6, because it exceeded my expectations.

We enjoyed our stay here,the location of this place is a plus point as it is in a close vicinity to all the tourist place,the care taker/ owner of the place is a really nice guy who helped us with bike rentals and made sure our stay was pleasent,the rooms were very clean and comfortable.

Nice little hotel. Breakfast served in nearby hotel. Rooms are clean and well sized. Bring your earplugs for the constant beeping of cars in town.

Very well maintained rooms, Calm locality, good hospitality, easy access to all places.

Magnífico hotel. Esta es nuestra segunda vez en este hotel ya que la calidad y precio es inmejorable, esta en una calle tranquila, muy cerca de la playa, calles principales con tiendas y todo lo necesario. Esta a menos de dos kilómetros de la estación de autobuses y a 20 minutos caminando del jardín botánico. A tan sólo 5 minutos caminando está el templo dónde por la tarde suele ir un hombre con un elefante el cuál te bendice con su trompa si le das comida. Desde luego si vuelvo a venir por tercera vez no dudaría en que darme en este hotel. Los trabajadores son muy amables, además incluye un buen desayuno indio. Limpio, tranquilo, nuevo.. Recomendable 100%.
