Le Pondichéry - Cafe by the Sea

An absolutely delightful view, and the most perfect coffee by the sea! Some of the best croissants I’ve had so far, and the tarts are to die for! They have some brilliant wild teas and specialty coffees in their menu. The macaroons, made of almond flour, are a must try! Great spot for a Sunday brunch, tourists as well as locals and college students.

The Promenade Beach is known for its rocky beach that is a tranquil, and picturesque. If there is one thing I truly love by the beach is having my black coffee and gorge on some flaky croissants. With the opening of Le Pondichéry, at the Promenade, it seems a perfect all rounder. As I can relax and savour some of their inhouse compote and freshly baked desserts. Not to mention, their chocolates. Its a Cafe, Patisserie and Chocolatier right by the sea.

I enjoyed their special White tea, along with fresh bread & croissants and melt in your mouth macaroons.

The new cafe at the Promenade hotel is a must visit. Easily the best location for a café in town. I loved the fresh warm croissant. The Lemon tart wasn't too sweet and the right amount of sour. The macarons were the best I've had in a while. I tried their wild white tea and enjoyed it with the Macaron.

Awesome food. Nice ambience. We were unlucky to not get outside sitting but it was compensated by yummy good. Place was packed and so food took some time to come but it was worth the wait.

Such a wonderful place right next to the sea. It is definitely a must visit! Their Croissants are the best ones I’ve had in all of Pondicherry.
