The House of Blue Mangoes

Lovely place and would not hesitate a bit to recommend a stay here. An old house is beautifully renovated and refurbished for a comfortable stay while retaining the old world charm. There are 3 rooms in the house and the open area has a small beautiful garden. The occupants can use the kitchen and help with cereal breakfast. Only down side is no car parking space with too narrow lane to enter.

The house is very beautiful with great interiors and the backyards to sit and relax. The room isaioli is perfect for 2-3 people. It was clean and had beautiful ambience. The veranda, kitchen and the whole apartment was so cosy and picturesque. The managers Rajesh, Gopal and the Akka who comes for cleaning were so friendly and warm. It's easy to reach there with the Google map address. The place being close to white town and rock beach is a perfect spot to stay. Totally loved the stay.

Well maintained and really hi class place fr tourist to stay.. blend of traditional and modernity.. rates are also economical and kind of a cozy place.. can get communal also. Highlight is a nice garden at the backyard with cherry tree.. my guests were all praise for you mam..

Had a lovely stay at the House of Blue Mangoes. The management and caretakers were extremely helpful, and it felt like I was staying over at a friend's place. Would recommend to solo travelers or a small group. Things I loved: Ease of access, the kitchen and the lovely little garden space, and the fact that there were no hiccups generally. Would stay again.

Prithika is a wonderful host. She kept me updated until we reach the guest house. The house is in quite location and with traditional setup.
We haven't used the kitchen so cant comment on the facilities in Kitchen although the appearance was very neat. With regards to privacy, we didn't find anything odd as we were out most of the day time. Overall I would definitely recommend who loves home stay.

I am very sure the stay here would be a different experience. This place is well maintained and gives a great pleasure to be in a traditional house.

Beautifully created Homestay. Wonderful service. Booked via AirBnb and stayed here for two days with my friends in Isabelle room. They have got a common kitchen to cater your midnight cravings. Cooked Maggi at night. Loved the place and the service. 1km from French Colony and Rock Beach. Around 200m from Sunday Market. Easy to reach.

Very nice place to stay. We did booking on Airbnb and experience was perfect and flawless. Host was very helpful. Place has such a heritage look, cute feeling.

A beautiful cosy house turned into Tourist Lodge housing 3 rooms with all amenities like A.C., Geyser.

Kitchen is shared with all equipment in place - just in case one wants to cook.
We preferred to try the different options the city has to offer.

It's an awesome place to stay couple of days. Very comfortable clean rooms kitchen. Couple of sit out areas. Friendly and helpful owners and care taker. Idiyappam is the nearby restaurant which serves very tasty south Indian food in traditional way..! Must try!

One of the most beautiful, well maintained, clean heritage properties in White Town, Pondicherry. Ms.Pritika who owns the place is an awesome host and takes very good care to help the guests. Not very pricey too, this place is ultimate in luxury and value for money. Availability of rooms is a big challenge.

Excellent place. The host is very helpful and cooperative. She has useful suggestions for almost everything in Pondy. Clean rooms and bathrooms. They have a beautiful yard at the back and the decor is just amazing.

One of the authentic low budget French home within the vicinity of railway station. We had booked through airbnb and place was as shown in picture. It was well maintained and clean. Finding the place was little confusing as the house was just off the main road. Manager Gopal guided us through city and must try places. They allowed early checkin and also accommodated our luggage in reception area on departure day. we got to know that the house was featured in a maharashtrian movie “ Pondicherry”. The outdoor seating area which has a mango tree was very enjoyable for morning coffee. Simple yet beautiful is what best describes this place.
