Villa Du Ocean

After a couple of weeks backpacking through India I decided to treat me and my partner to a nice room instead of the budget guesthouses we'd been staying in and Villa Du Ocean did not disappoint!
Perhaps some of the other reviewers on here are used to higher standards than me but I thought our room was stunning, clean and huge! The bed was SO comfortabl and maybe we struck lucky but our balcony overlooked the street and church and was a delight to sit on of an evening and play cards.
The staff were so lovely, the breakfast was varied and the location was 10/10. I honestly couldn't think of one criticism, we even had our own dedicated WiFi router so the bandwidth was excellent 👌🏼
Thank you so much to Villa Du Ocean for giving us the much needed few days of chill on our travels, it was well worth the money (which, arguably, wasn't even that much 😂 shop around the various booking sites!!)

Very nice place, centre of the town, easy to access and explore all restaurants, beach, temples and churches.
Room is very good with access to swimming pool.
An affordable and classy looking place. The bathrooms have 24*7 hot water, very good and clean.
Roof top restaurant is very good, complimentary breakfast is decent.
The down side is there's no car parking. Only street parking at owner's risk.There are paid parking spaces nearby.
Service is good.

We booked a superior room for 3 nights..in our room will be located near to swimming pool view it's really amazing ..and the rooms are spacious it could be comfortable accomodate to us .staff are very kind and friendly .I really enjoy the vacation. and dame sure will recommend to my friends too....

We did a 2 day trip for a friends meet who travelled from Bengaluru, Coimbatore and Chennai. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Location is so apt we can walk down to a lot of places we need to see.

Lovely place in a great location a few minutes from the beach and surrounded by shops and restaurants. Room very clean and spacious, tasty Indian and Western breakfast. Helpful staff 🙂

I visited the restaurant here. It is a Rooftop restaurant. From here we get a good view of Our Lady of Angels church and surroundings. Tasty food.

Lovely calm hotel with good rooms, air con worked well. Warm water in shower. Pool nice too. Didn't use restaurant.

Lovely stay, Excellent staff and Great location and Good break fast.
200 metres away from beach. It is in the city with acces to shopping , hospital and restaurant etc
No parking, need to park on road which is common at white town

Our stay was great and my kid loved it.
Special mention for Delphin who went out of way to help.
I missed my smart watch at the hotel and Delphin informed us and ensured she couriers it to us. She kept following up till it reaches us. It was a surreal experience. May God bless her and give her abundance

Villa of happiness. A very pleasant stay in a spacious and nicely decorated room with a beautiful pleasant balcony for reading. A roof top where you can have breakfast and delicious meals (well done to the chef) while admiring the rooftops of the city around, then enjoy a swim in the pretty little swimming pool overlooking the cathedral. An almost surreal moment. All this surrounded by a manager and caring staff. Without forgetting the multiple service proposals: massage, taxi..we will come back.THANKS.

It is a great place to stay in the White town. The place is neat and clean. We got a free upgrade to their Suite room. The rooms are spacious as well. They also have a decent breakfast buffet. There are nice cafes near to this spot as well as the rock beach.

Well furnished and nice rooms. Perfect stay for 2 persons. Close to Seerenity beach and French Colony giving it a excellent view from rooftop to the beach. Excellent location. Easily accessible. It has a rooftop common pool. Food is nice and affordable.

Excellent location of hotel..The rooms are well planned more like the Vintage way..The room key itself will give a vintage feel... Mr Lenin is a very good manager. Him and his team will try arrange everything you request for .. We took our baby for a birthday.They tried their best to arrange the room and cake in the best possible way they could.. Hospitality is really good and staff are warm... Resturant food is really good especially if u need Indian cuisine.. The roof top restaurant has got good sea view for morning breakfast.. Highly recommended.

Staff:
We had visited Villa Du Ocean just last week on occasion of my Wife's Birthday. We were traveling with two kids (7 year and 1 year). From Cab arrangement for Airport pickup to taking care of baby food for my infant everything was taken care by the hotel staff (Mr.Lenon in particular).

Location:
Apart from the warm hospitality the location of the hotel is excellent. It is at a walking distance to the Promenade Beach and is surrounded by Churches, Cafes, Restaurants & Ice Cream Parlours all at walking distance. The view from their root top restaurant is also very nice.

Room:
Room was quite big and clean.Bathroom was also neat and tidy .

Summary:
All and all its a good value of money hotel with good staff and hospitality.

We stayed here for 7 nights and we can a comfortable stay. The room was clean and very big. The staff where really helpful and they even arranged our collection from Chennai airport too.
The hotel was well located and walking distance from Rock beach and right in the heart of White town. There are so many places to eat close by or by taxi. They also had a roof top breakfast area too and breakfast was nice too.
Thanks to Lenin (hotel manager) and his staff we had a great stay here.

A great place to stay while touring India. It was a welcome oasis in a lovely town.

Love our room, love the employees here, all sweet and helpful. They're great with customers and always willing to help out. Loved the service and loved the location. Will definitely stay here again.

The staff is really helpful and cooperative. We stayed there for one night and wished we had time to stay for more.
The suite rooms are huge and spacious and have bathtub in it. Rooms also have a cute swing inside. All the main touristy places are at walking distance from the hotel.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staffs are co operative. The swimming pool with beach view was so great. The location of the hotel is superb with easy access to beach, temple, shops, museum etc. A special thanks to Mr.Lenin who made our stay a memorable one.
