Park Guest House, Sri Aurobindo Ashram

Had our pleasant stay in the guest house in the last week. Perfect location behind the beach, with scenic view and beautiful garden to sit and medidate. Overall peaceful experience and memorable. Have only breakfast services with limited menu. very nice stayexperience overall. Loved the balcony time

Awesome place to stay in-front of Rock Beach. The food options are limited but they are simple & good. Rooms are clean & overall very economical at a place where other hotel charges are quite on the higher side.

Simple, safe for families, attached to rock beach. Environmental friendly where they encourage usage of own bottle by providing safe drinking water taps. Breakfast seems safe with no soda and clean cooking by all ladies.

For foreigners they have separate rooms which they donot give to the Indian guests , also they try to avoid couples also their typical reply is rooms are not availiable. A gentleman working there a few years ago there was accepting bribes for better rooms and would provide a room, have not visited this place since 2019 so don’t know if that gentleman is still there .
Also they will not allow any rented two wheelers from outside to park in there but their staff will rent their personal two wheeler to which they have no problem.

Nice place to stay. It's very near to the beach. so please take 2nd or 3rd floor rooms so you can enjoy the sea view from the balcony. Going with family trip best to stay here. Alcohol and smoking are not allowed in the guest house.

Park guest house is belongs to Sri aurobindo ashram. Phone booking is not allowed. After reaching the venue, if rooms are available they will give you. The cost of room starts from 1500 ( non AC). excellent location. The cost of other hotel at same location starts from 10K. Normal rooms with average facilities but peaceful environment. Alcohol is strictly prohibited inside the hotel. They will give the rooms only for family. No food is available inside but available near by area.

Fantastic location. Excellent service. Rooms were tip top with clean sheets. Simple rooms with outstanding views and service.

A Perfect stay in such a specially cared for and interesting building with a wonderful lovingly cared for garden. We enjoyed the attention to detail, simplicity and lovely balcony’s with fabulous views. These were just some of the highlights we enjoyed. So calm, serene, peaceful and safe. They have considered little details such as clean pure drinking water on every level, gorgeous mosquito nets, little clothes lines. It was absolutely perfect and spotlessly clean. Lovely place overlooking rock beach. Affordable prices and clean rooms

A serene place with a very small but beautiful thematic garden. Both types of rooms with or without airconditioner are available. Booking done on their website. It is however not a hotel but guesthouse attached to Aurobindo ashram so certain rules are to be followed. And interior or furniture is not very luxurious. So if you are looking for such things then you will be disappointed. All rooms facing beautiful sea. No room service. Restaurant with limited facility. No lunch or dinner but merely for breakfast and high tea at afternoon time.

Beautiful sea facing property. Simple say with no TV/ internet etc. Avoid going during May/ June as its really hot and humid. I was lil unlucky and didn't to a AC room ( we all are spoiled), evening are pleasant. But you need AC if you want to have a good night sleep. Also make sure you use the mosquito net which is provided by the ashram guest house. Odomos doesnt work.

Also it has got a nice park. The timing are very strict they are open between 5am to 10:30pm

The ambience is great. The rooms are damn cheap. Family rooms are available for 5 persons and more at a reliable rate of 2500 per day. The rooms are highly comfortable and clean. The washrooms are well sanitized. Visitors are allowed inside the guest house. The guest house is located exactly opposite to the beach which is the unique selling point. The peaceful beach air gives great positive vibes. The sea view is amazing from the lawn and the balcony of the rooms.

Must visit place for a peacefull stay. There are restrictions such as no outside food, should report within 10.00pm etc but location of this restaurant is very near to beach and affordable price. Good for family.
