Shenbaga Hotel & Convention Centre

We stayed at this place for 2 days and our experience has been great. We felt the room is a bit tiny, but that could be due to the location. Excellent location, walkable to almost all the popular tourist spots. Food was great too. Couple of suggestions, please extend the breakfast hours for another hour or so. Also please dont turn off the corridor lights after 11.00 pm as its very difficult for us to go around as we came in late.

Quite central in Pondicherry. Nice pool on top, view over the nearby roofs to the sea. 30 minutes away from the farthest part of the French Quarter. 15 minutes to the sea boulevard. Very nice rooms, distinctive atmosphere.

This was one of the most budget friendly place were able to find in Pondicherry and yet the service and the overall experience was nothing less than a 5 star hotel. They had a duplex option available which is perfect for a family of 4 and less expensive compared to 2 rooms. The staff was very warm, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast generally served everyday does not change and has the local food delicacies but I am not complaining. The food was very tasty and we ate our hearts out, especially their butter sada dosa was a hit in the family. The location is very good if you are looking to explore white town. We were almost a 15 mins walk away from the promonade and the area around seemed very safe to venture even during the nights. Overall a good stay.

The stay was very pleasant. The rooms are very specious and clean. The in-house restaurant serves authentic breakfast. The food is also very tasty. The location is very ideal to visit the beach and French colonies.

The ambience of the hotel was amazing. And the complimentary breakfast was so delicious.
The hotel was on the main road from where you can visit every tourist's place and beaches in only 10 mins.

A Mind blowing stay I would say - the best hotel in Pondicherry with buffet breakfast. We 3 of the guys went and occupied a single room with additional cot. The additional cot was much comforting and the room was just awesome.

Decent place. Weird room bathroom design, glass wall can view from bed into bathroom directly, have to use blind to close for privacy, not appropriate for family oriented stay.

The rooms are good according to the price quoted , located at prime location to all tourist place. Has valet parking for overnight stay.

The hotel can be even rated 5 star for its excellent rooms location etc the phone and much more vip service everywhere the owner and everything but the employees are a bit rude and not quite attentive at night there is no one to attend everyone are just sleeping other than that overall great

A great place to hangout! Our room was kind of a duplex villa, Swimming pool was very clean and not too much chlorine added, Gym facility is also available. Highlight is complimentary breakfast - Had multiple varieties of dishes like Idly, Vada, hot dosa and Omelet served through live counter, Breads, corn flakes, Tea, coffee, fresh juices and multiple desserts.Non-veg was also available. It's really worth a penny!

One of the best place to stay in pondicherry. Crntral location and 1.5 km to paradise beach and closer to market.

The best thing about this Hotel is the location. It's very close to the White Town and Promenade beach and we can take a 5 min walk to reach those places. The service and the rooms are very clean and the room we got was spacious as well. All the equipment worked fine for us. The room service and housekeeping did a very good job. The gym is quite small though and the breakfast could have been better for some days but no complaints. It had a lot of options to choose from.

I would say it's one of the best hotel to stay with a reasonable price...

The hotel is very clean,also our AC stopped working at around 2am,we called at the reception and service was sent to us within 3 mins 🤌

The food was too bland to match up to the Indian taste buds.
Changes were done according to their foreigner guest who came to the hotel the next day.

Well located.

Rooms are clean . Adequate Bathroom supplies.. small refrigerator available. Good varieties of food. Taste is really good. Don’t eat outside, too much of crowd. And even small hotels are charging the same rate as hotel. So better to eat here itself.
