Unfortunately i do not belong to the community, thats why i was not with a funeral procession to get an entry to the area...it is not at all a "kabaristhan" as written on the gate...it is the tower of silence...i peeped through the closed entrance...and found it very neat landscape..as if a flower garden..begging several times for a chance entry...i was refused...i think beyond all religion, one has the right to visit and know of such a beautiful place...and conduct serious research works....the place is lovely...

This place is in Beleghata . This is the only parsi burial ground in West Bengal . But the do not allow people from other than parsi inside the place . This place is declared as a heritage of the City by Kolkata municipal corporation .
