Christian Burial Ground

This place has its certain heritage value.
But it's not properly maintained.
Big thing to regret.
its a very old burial ground in dumdum area. the Christian burial ground authority should look upon the maintenance matter.

a very old church is also situated here. its need quick recovery,as metro railway is making a bridge there, that's why the church is badly effected there.

The oldest Christian Cemetery in Dum Dum Area. This Cemetery is well maintained by the Christian Burial Board.

It is very broad,traditional cemetery.Peaceful place.Many long time you can spend here without any problem

This is an important place for the believers of Christianity. This is the place where the "mortal remains " of their existance REST IN PEACE .
The place is quite old and I feel not less than 200 years .
This place must be declared as a heritage place .
The most unfortunate thing is the callous attitude of the government to chalk out metro plan over this place and un finished tunnel is laying through the place .
Another thing is the parking of buses and other vehicles have almost choked it's main entrance .
This is highly unjustified .
The area is well above 50 bighas ; more or less .
Many flowering tress have been dried out owing to some " disease", otherwise the place would have been more calm and quite with chirping of birds .
There is one second gate . The general unaware ness of the common people to show regard and respect to this place is matter of concern.

Clean and well maintained burial ground just near the airport. But due to the metro work some of the land is going away for the metro under ground rail track.

It is a old Burial Ground at Dum Dum, in the year of 1850s.This is under St. Patrick’s Church Dum Dum Cantonment. It is located in Airport No.1area and Jessore Road.
