Your suggestion that The Hermitage Resort would be the ideal place to stay was indeed the best. I had gone to Darjeeling with the main intention to see the Kanchenjunga. And I can grantee that the Hotel rooms gave the best view . I did not have to go to the Tiger Hill to watch the sunrise nor did I have to queue up for breakfast at the Glenary or Keventers in order to enjoy the view while having breakfast/lunch. I was able to enjoy the best view ,with equally good breakfast and lunch sitting in my room.The majestic Kanchenjunga was my companion from sunrise to sunset. The Hotel apart from having the best view is very homely, clean and also is situated in a very nice area. Though it is away from the crowd but it is just a 5 minutes walk to the Mall.I also want to thank you for keeping in touch while we were in Darjeeling... finding out whether we are comfortable and whether we would require anything . As me and my sister had gone (being two ladies ) it surely made us feel very very comfortable and safe.I would like to suggest Diamond Tours & Travels for those who would want to get the best ......I have uploaded few pictures of the Majestic Kanchenjunga captured from my Hotel room window.

We have been relying on Diamond Tours and Travels since 2009. Recently this Durga Puja 2023, we travelled to West Sikkim. Booked one of the best hotels in Pelling- Crassula Ovata through Shri Indrajeet Bhattacharjee of Diamond. It was Durga Puja time, but surprisingly he was always in touch with us thrice a day, if everything is going good. Why I recommend Diamond Tours, is because of the reliability, responsibility, and continuous monitoring and reviewing of the needs and comfort of the tourists.

Enjoyed the stay amidst nature at Bhagabatipur Container Farm Stay (Ahmedpur). Not located far away from Shantiniketan. Liked the unique idea of container farm-stay. The service provided was great and the hospitality even better. Would surely recommend this place and thanks to Diamond Travels and Mr Indrajit for their warm assistance.

Our Gujarat trip was fantastic. We visited Somenath Dwarka Shivrajpur Beach Rann utsav tent city in Dhordo village. The itinerary was very well designed

We were 13 people went to ladakh trip with the help of Diamond Travels. As the tour was according to our plan, we all were happy with all the arrangements done by them. Feelings... Not a mere feedback.

It is admittedly true that combination of good hotel rooms, good car on rent and of course a good climate during the trip brings a pleasant experience which indeed works as reminiscent of a nice feelings for the next few years.
Had such an experience after having an excellent customized trip in the state of Shillong and Arunachal Pradesh a month back which took place under right advice of Smt Mahua Das, a well-mannered staff member of the Diamond Tours and Travels. Most the properties pre-booked from the Diamond Tours n Travels were excellent, praise-worthy and conform with the pre-notions and valued advices given by Smt Das regarding various aspects e.g the self chosen flight schedule, Inner Line Permit, roadway conditions, probable climate and so many other factors before commencement of the trip. Each and every phone call done from different places of AP was rightly attended by Smt Das on behalf of the Diamond Tours and Travels which has immensely helped us to come across an overall good experience and enjoy at the fullest.
If someone wants to have some budget hotels then he/she may have numerous tour operators, but if someone prefers to good, standard and tasteful hotels then he/she may go for the services from Diamond Tour and Travels which works as the Tour operator turned Guide.
