La Macario Cafe

We decided to go “La Macario” which is one of the best Vegetarian Cafes in Kolkata serving Italian & Continental Cuisine. Firstly, the café is built with a warm ambience along with some positive vibes. The detailing with the beautiful wooden-looking interior and ample space for the people to sit and enjoy their food is just exceptional. They have a different sitting space for hookah lovers too. Secondly, the food is been the best part I love about this place. The food which they served was extraordinarily great in quality and taste. They have a great menu listed, and you had to try it all (Not all at once, but yes have to try it all).
Items we tried were:
1. Hookah: Hookah along with the sweet songs and warm ambience, it was a great experience.
2. Cheese Fondue platter: For the Cheese lovers! This Platter is perfect for you. The sauce is just amazing.
3. Mezze Platter: Mezze Platter is an easy, fun, and family-friendly choice.
4. Spinach and Ricotta Cannelloni: juicy spinach and ricotta filling inside cannelloni pasta tubes, topped with tomato basil sauce and some cheese inside it.
5. Buffalo Pizza: A thin crust chef’s Special pizza with the touch of mozzarella cheese, oven-dried tomatoes, olives and roasted garlic, it is just wow! Do try it once.

6. Café Mocha: One of the best for coffee lovers.
7. Bubble-gum shake: Great Flavour.
8. Orange & Basil Lemonade

Very cute and spacious cafe with good vegetarian food. Not only is the setting here terrific, this cafe offers some equally great menu for you to indulge. Try their Coffee, Omelettes, Avocado Toast, Soba noodles, Gnocchi, Quinoa salad, Charred baby corn and mushroom platter, Herbed rice with mushroom sauce, Spinach & Ricotta cannelloni, Lasagna, Crepes, Udon noodles, Pizza, Mezze platter, Pasta, Cheesecake & Chocolate mudpie.

I was very impressed with the quality of food and the service. The place is centrally located in the heart of the city and is very well lit and done up tastefully too. The beverages were really good. Don't have the picture but their zucchini parmigiana was an awesome starter, must try! The Japanese udon noodles were also very good.

Takes you to a fine Italian style cafe, perfect outing for a rainy evening. Taste and ambience have no compromises. Order a bigger quantity, if you are hungry, as quantity served can feel a little less.

Beverages and pizzas, specially the chefs special menu is worth a try anyday.

A worthy visit, for a sudden meet or a planned date, cozy and well coordinated service.

Excellent place, all of their items taste amazing. All the items are vegetarian and they are worth it.

A lovely place to be in for some quality time with friends or family. It has a smoking zone as well, for whom it would matter.
The ambience is excellent and we had our privacy since the place is very nicely well spread out and spacious.

Went there for an event, had a great experience. Is situated in a nice old vintage building, good foot, good environment, nice service. Also it was quite spacious, despite a lot of people being present, it did not feel stuffed ag all.

This is purely a veg cafe. The quality and the quantity of the food was great. We loved it.😊

Cannot find the perfect adjectives to put to this place because it was perfect. The ambience, the staff, the service, the food, the quality and quantity of the good and experience and the value for money this place provides is IMPECCABLE. I would surely go to this cafe without a second thought whenever I'm nearby.

Bright and beautiful cafe with huge windows which makes the place look fresh and vibrant. The interiors are nicely do e. The size of coffee and the mocktails is really huge!! You can enjoy your cuppa over chit chat with your friends and expect it to last long.. must visit for a warm cup of coffee and mocktails.. need to try the food next time..

La Macario is a tucked-in (its roadside sign is pretty low on visibility) delight. They BREW their Darjeeling (and other leaves) rather than dumping bags in a cuppa. The best iced tea in town perhaps.

Lovely place. soothing ambience. love the detailing of the place. small little things have been taken care of by the owners.
Both Pesto pizza and zucchini parmigiana tasted delicious.
Shall visit again for sure.
