Best school I'd say. Passed my class 11-12 from that school under English medium. Awesome teachers with great in-depth knowledge. If you get chance there, dont miss the opportunity. I dumped my own school (from where I passed my class 10) just to be a student of this school. :-) and of course great memories too :-)

I was a student of this school. It is one of the best govt sponsored WBBSE & WBCHSE school with large computer room, library, large playground, annual sports activities, auditorium, garden, parking zone etc. Faculties are very good. Both English and Bengali medium education is available here. Non-teaching stuffs are also good. The school has primary, secondary and higher secondary classes.

One of the famous Boy's School in Kolkata,the teachers are very helpful and friendly.There is a large playground.Nearest to Selimpur bus stop,which is near to Jadavpur Police Station.
The primary classes(1-5)is conducted in the morning shift and the secondary(6-10) and higher secondary classes(11-12)is conducted in the day shift.There are chemistry,physics,computer science,geography practical rooms,a library,a reading room,a canteen.All-over the school is very excellent.

Appearance : The school comprises of a large L-shaped 3-storeyed building and a vast green field behind the building. It has 2 entrance gates. The front porch is nicely decorated. Classrooms are huge and airy.

Purpose : They provide primary, secondary and higher secondary education to students, affiliated under West Bengal board of education.

My old school.. ohh old memories... When I walked through down memory lane I found that this is one of the best school of Kolkata.. Our teachers are really awesome. Also lab staffs & other staffs are very helpful.. Some renowned teachers of this school are - Sajal Kumar Guha, Shibaji Chakraborty, Sarbani Roy, Priyotosh Basu & many more..

Probably the best faculty in Kolkata. Most of the teachers has qualification to teach in college (NET qualification). I personally know some of them who are presently in various colleges. Audio visual learning system is available(one Kyan machine). An wonderful laboratory (especially physics and biology) and a library with appropriable collection are two main attractions for an higher-secondary student, though one can use library from VI. An wonderful teacher student bonding,which is gradually disappearing from our society, is till well preserved here. Everything from casual gossiping to cricket match between teachers and students is very often.The only minus point is having no practice of any sort of extracurricular activity except plantation and clean drive in 15th August and two wall magazines and drawing competition in Saraswati puja. Lastly this is the place of learning... not of getting marks, education here meets heart.

There are memories still I can't explain...stories that will not come again...friends...can never be forgotten...#school memories...at it's best

But it could have been better...if the teachers were friendlier...and gave us something more...to think out of the box...not to target the marks only...

And a little lack of sense of humor...from the teachers...but got some creative backbenchers...enough to make your days better...#freedom...that's the reality..(you have to wait to sense it)
