I am a Tourist in Calcutta and wanted to sent some money back home due to emergency reason. I have never ever encountered rudeness and dont care attitude from any bank in my life. These guys did not care about their customers one bit and it seemed like they owned the place. I was passed around like a toy to different departments just to send money back home. The end result was apparently they do not provide the service. After further persuasion one of the employee asked me to open up a bank account with a minimum bank balance of 10000 rs in, i still do not understand the logic of that. All in all the worse service I have ever seen in my life. If this is real bengali culture then I am sorry to say it is rather disappointing...

the bank was close for 7 days and open after for 1 day but server down and close again this is not good and not acceptable at all ???? Service standard not good our own money we cannot take out ??
