I am Col Tapan Datto an Army Officer staying in Bangalore and keep visiting Kolkata on official and personal work. My first choice is always Next Generation Guest House in AD -255 Salt Lake Kolkata.
Its a homely, well maintained with high speed Wifi and very warm staff who are always eager to make your stay memorable. The location is very central with the ATMs, Banks, Local transportation, a well stocked market being within walking distance. The food and service are impeccable. It's like being in home. It's home away from 🏠home. I sis not stay, but had booked the dining cum drawing room area for a birthday celebration of 4 people (family). It had all the amenities and the place had kitchen with good food quality and taste. They had helpers who helped us to decorate the place with festoons and balloons. However they should introduce schemes like 6 hours type booking just for small parties that would be little more budget friendly..

The staff here are really very friendly and they serve too well. The food is also good and served quick. They have a good view and amenities.
The location is little confusing but overall it's a really nice place to stay.

Really very good Guest house, they are having each and every facility they wrote on booking sites, very polite and helpful staff, got complimentary breakfast which was just delicious, you can choose breakfast among choices given.

Great place to stay. Service is excellent. Staff is helpful. And the food is delicious.

The place is location adjacent to the big technopolis building. Free Parking on the road is difficult because of metro construction,but cars can be parked inside with fees.
There are many corporate offices inside the building which the security guard will ask details of.
