Garden high school is a very good school of play and learning. They have a very large campus with three buildings. One is the junior high, another is senior high school and the third is the ghs international. There is a large field where lot of games like cricket, football, badminton, is played. Also during the break time, children are allowed to play in the field. They are also allowed to bring football and tennis ball and badminton from home to play. They have a games room where all the equipment is stored. They also have a chess and table tennis setup. There is a two storey library where it is divided into three sections. Junior section, senior section and reference section. The classrooms are moderate in size with almost fifteen benches in each class. The classes have fans, open classrooms and tv s , for video demonstration. They have an audio and visual room. They have home science lab, physics lab, chemistry 🧪 lab and biology lab fitted with latest equipment. They also have a ac hall were seminars are held. In all, ghs is a school of excellence where students come before all.

It's a professionally Managed School. I admitted both my kids here but taken them out to other school based on my needs for my wards.

I can easily park my vehicles as the road nearby school is quite broad in compare to other schools where its difficult to park vehicles. School is well maintained, and school rooms are spacious and neatly managed.

Communication over the portal and land phones for various reasons are very easy to manage. Parents gets all classes related important notifications through WhatsApp.

Regarding academics, if the students follow the classes, then they don't need to study while going back to home. But how many students seriously follows that, big question. So as a result the students get pressurized while at home to cover school syllabus.

Extra-curricular activities are missing here. Even if something happens, that goes for selected students only. I think every student need equal opportunity to showcase their skills. School need to take care of this as well. They need to make all students feel responsible and important.

Parent can meet School teacher and Principal as an when needed and get updates about their ward. Teachers and principal are very helpful and provide necessary guidance.

School provides free remedial Classes for students who needs improvement to subject they are weak.

School Portal Helps Parents to gets information and lodge any complain or register for activities or pay fees and get any information about their wards easily online without visiting School.

Overall, the school is highly organized, and a good system is in place. For Academic excellence and book-based education, they score 10/10 but for Overall Students improvement, they scored poor, they need to take care of this little gray areas for overall performance.

One of the best schools in town. But it's too costly. But the main advantage is they build your child. You don't need to worry about education. You will be surprised to know how your child learnt all those things even without your help.

Garden High is an English-medium coeducational school established in 2000 by the Satikanta Guha Foundation. Garden High is affiliated to CISCE...The motto of the school is to let knowledge lead to wisdom, and wisdom to emancipation..The first Academic Session of the School began in November,2001. This School is an attempt to give a ‘local habitation and a name’ to the vision that Satikanta Guha and his wife, Priti Lata Guha, had tried to give shape to in founding South Point School...That vision is shared by all who have played a part in founding the School and are involved in its present management...The four houses of Garden High School are Chinar, Cedar, Oak and Palm.Competitions happen between the four houses . The matches are played in the school field....A school should be ‘training minds and not stuffing them’. . It is with this mission that pupils at Garden High School are encouraged to question...The school is affiliated to the CISCE....
their campus and facilities are much better. Special attractions are the Garden and the Library which really deserve a five star.
Their teacher-student ratio is good. The results are up there in top 3/5 schools in Bengal...Fees are on a bit higher side. They do have an international school in the same building too...

I.S.C Batch of 2016. Words fall short when it comes to describe the school... Infact it was not just a temple of learning and education for me but my second home as well... I have been a student of the school since it's inception.. A set of highly skilled and well versed teachers in their respective domains as well the administration profoundly engineers the students to excel in their career as well as in life... As the school moto says Knowledge leads to wisdom, and wisdom leads to emancipation... The atmosphere of competitive growth steers us towards our individual perspectives as we Learn, Leap and Lead.... A brilliant centrally air conditioned library, an audio visual room, 3 computer laboratories, laboratories for Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Home Science not only instils in us a practical growth and understanding of the real world environment but it also builds a store house of memories, memories that still make me cry at Times. The lush green field and a dozen of memories made there often reminds me of my fellow mates calling each other out.... Engaging and attaching one's life here at Garden High is worthy not for just a day but for a lifetime, not a boring subject to be revised everyday but a sweet literature meant to be cherished till eternity.... I would sugggest parents to admit their wards to the school, because trust me I still wish that I could bring back the days that i had spent in this school....

Lot's of love.... Garden High School❤

It's really a good school and I'm an ex student (currently in GHIS). I was here till class VII. However, I had to leave and couldn't continue till class 12 as I wasn't being able to handle the pressure, this school pressurises a lot. Despite the fact that the ratio between the students and the teacher is 1:20, having tuitions is definitely a must! The overall system is great.

It's a good ICSE school. My daughter is studying since nursery class over here. She is in class 5 right now. She loves her school a lot. Teachers are very good, caring and competent. Teachers teach in such a way in class that no tuitions are needed which is a good thing. Teachers encourage students to read story books as well.

They should focus a bit more on extra curricular activities as well. They should keep an option of teaching chess and basketball after school hours by charging a nominal fees from interested students like it's done in Indus Valley World School. And there should be a class on Robotics as well.

This school's 10 and 12 class results are very impressive. That was the primary reason for getting my daughter's admission in this school. Hopefully my review will help you in deciding whether to admit your children in this school or not.

The school is excellent. The results are a prove for it's standard. In the last few years the school has made rapid progress in achieving steller results in the board exams. The teaching staffs are well trained and are able to gel nicely with the young trots.it would be a good decision to get your wards admitted to this future generation school for their bright career. This school boosts of all the best infrastructure required for the physical and mental development of the child.

Garden High School is a very good school. It not only facilitates scholars but also motivates the average ones. The teachers are like friend-philosophers who teach affectionately and try their level best to solve the problems of the pupils. On the whole it's a wonderful school.

Its one of the best schools in West Bengal. I'm truly proud to be a part of this school. Most of our teachers are friendly towards us. We all enjoy ourselves at school with our friends........its like a second home to us all. All the attendants at school are really helpful and friendly towards us.

Have been in this school for 9 years. This school has made me what I am today, and I hope that that is not too bad. Garden High School, or GHS for simplicity, is one of the best schools today. Maybe it is not too big, or very modern, but it has a cozy atmosphere, with friendly teachers. The classrooms are very airy and comfortable. Studies are always on, and you'll find yourself an absolutely learned person when you pass out from class 12. I feel really sad when I think of when I will pass out from 12. Now, I'm in the end of 8, in section E, with four more years. So, if you're searching for a school, THIS IS THE BEST!!!

This is an edited post. The earlier review was a negative one but since the school is focusing on all my complaints, it no longer deserves to be badly rated. The school is as always great for education. Now the school takes part in different co curricular activities. Looking after all needs of students.

I'm an ex student of this school. I was it's student for the past 14 yrs. From nurcery to class 12. This school is one of the best school in West Bengal. Best academical facility is given along with super extra curricular activities. Our results act as a recird for our achievements. The teachers, staffs, in short everyone who is a part of this school is always ready to help you. It has an aura of its own. The environment is jst love. Garden High is not jst a school its an emotion that never fades, a memory one will cherish for lifetime.
If anyone wants to get their child admitted to Garden High then plz do. Come to GHS ONCE AND you'll not wish to leave it.

I have been a student for the past 11 years.I love the school. The level of teaching is pretty high and so board results are always good.A bit more focus on fests and extra curricular activities would not hurt though.

I was a student at South Point when I wore a younger man's clothes. Pushing 40 now, I look back fondly upon my Alma mater, her teachers, her students, and find myself humbled by gratitude for everything that I had learned and imbibed from her.

So when the time came to choose a modern school for my daughter, Garden High was a natural choice.

I have always been a great admirer of Mr. Indranath Guha's beliefs regarding education and how it should be imparted. And I was happy to find their embodiment in all facets of Garden High School. The balanced mix of local sensibility and international mindedness, the provincial and the global, the pressure of academics and the fun of school life in general - has never failed to impress me.

My daughter is currently in Class 3 and so far, I haven't found a single reason to complain (except, perhaps, for the overall tendency of the School to be a bit pricey in most things)!
