The BENGAL Lounge

There is a wine bar. I went for an event, and found that the seating capacity was not sufficient for 50 people at a time.

There were around 3 tables with ~6 seats each. Other than that, there were 3 big sofas around small tables. Seating capacity should be increased.

And in the ladies' bathroom water leaks a lot from inside the toilets to the basin area.

Other than that, everything was nice as the lounge was squeaky clean, with polite waiters.

It was an amazing experience. Special attraction is their Kolkata Gallery where all the history of Kolkata has been displayed.
The history of Kolkata displayed in Kolkata Gallery is a truely superb collection.

The Bengal Lounge is a pub-cum-lounge. The ambiance is vibrant and very beautifully decorated. They have a seperate smoking zone. They have quite an elaborated menu, among which we tried:
▫Starter :- Peri Peri Paneer, Olive Chicken, Crispy Fried Chicken, Butter Garlic Prawn, Mini Chicken Burger, Chicken Pasta in Mix Sauce.
▫Dessert :- Sizzling Brownie With Ice Cream.

🍹Mocktails :- Mango berry colada , Kiwi Ginger Twist, Bull frog ,Rozy Lips , Litchi Twist, Spice Mango, Dry Fruits Lassi.

The food quality and quantity was good and the staffs were cooperative

Recently visited this 5000 sq ft lounge @thebengalloungekolkata in Ultadanga , the biggest one in the vicinity!
The food is AMAZING to say the least ! There's Continental and Italian and I absolutely loved the white sauce pasta !
The butter chicken puchka shots were unique and I'd def go back for more !

We had our reception party here. Needless to say but this is one of the best venues you can opt for in the city of Kolkata. From the management to the staff, all are very courteous and decent. The place gives you an authentic and traditional look to match your special occasion.

Located near high court and Eastern railway head quarter. The infrastructure is government but the operation is by some private service provider. So, they provide some discount to government employees. Service and quality of food is excellent. They serve a variety of vegetarian and non- veg food. They serve traditional bengali food also. They also serve noodles, thali combination etc....

We really enjoyed. Should visit place. Take your love one on classy date.

Went there on the occasion of my uncle's 25th anniversary lunch. The arrangement was pretty cool. There was a buffet lunch and each and every item tasted so delicious.

Very good atmosphere and to much cleaned and very motivational place.

Excellent ambience with wide variety of lip smacking food (courtesy 6 Ballygaunje Place)...quiet and cosy...good warm behaviour of all the staffs with maintaining proper COVID protocol...

Located in the same building as the Bengal chamber of commerce, it's a place that seems soaked in history. The English era building, the antique lift all add to the great food that awaits you. The best thing about this place is that they have not tried to cramp in as many tables as possible hence you have a relaxed feeling while having your food. The menu is limited but very well curated. You won't leave the place disappointed. Recommended for great food and reasonable price.

Great location, really pleasant and clean, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff specially RABINDRANATH MUKHERJEE. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time .. YOU CAN ALSO VISIT 🎆😁
