Silver Sands Restaurant Cum Bar

This is one of the oldest Bar cum Restaurant in Salt lake. I loved this place. The food is very testy and price is also very reasonably competitive to others restaurants in salt lake. Location is also very prominent just opposite of city centre exit gate. But I think service is very good and need improvement including attitude of service boy
Went there solo to enjoy Chicken Drumsticks with Whiskey. Heard about this place from friends and colleagues. Food and liquor prices are pocket-friendly. Not suitable for very large groups. Have a separate smoking enclosure. For some reason, the staff assigned to me was visibly rude - but service was okay. Lighting could have been better- but it's more of a watering hole than a bar/cum restaurant. For people visiting solo, this is a great place as there are many corner seats available to enjoy your food and liquor in peace. Food quality was okay. They provided normal drinking water separately which was nice.

Best Bar for me in Kolkata. Value for money. Peanut Masala, Aaloo Tikki, Chilli Garlic Pepper Fish are must try - especially for people like me who like medium or non spicy food. Very well behaved waiters. Service is excellent - they repeat without hesitation. They serve complimentary badaam, chanachur and one of the few bars left in Kolkata that gives complimentary ginger dipped in vinegar - which is very important for me as it helps in digestion. If you get window seats, it is good as you can have a good view of surroundings. Excellent watering hole to spend quality time with good food and drinks on your own or with a group of friends. Great place to sit with friends and colleagues over alcohol in reasonable price that too in that location. Hospitality is sober. Atmosphere is good, crowd is decent, haven't faced any issues. Loved it. Will visit again.

Nice and cozy place to freak out. Staffs are well behaved and overall service is very nice.

Just opposite to CC1 nice place for hanging out with friends and family. The staffs there are very courteous and well behaved. They've 2 floors. One's a bit funky and another one is a bit classy. The prices are somewhat affordable and food are undoubtedly good.

Alcohol is comparatively cheaper here. Foods were also good and tasty

Opposite City Center 1. Next to Indian Oil petrol pump. The food is decent and the ambience is good. Service is good too. Nice place to spend an evening with friends for a few shots of alcohol.

This was one of the places where you could only being your homies and not the girl of your dreams. The decor used to be shabby enough to make a roadside Don feel like he's the boss. After the renovation though , I must say , the service and the menu is impeccable. Its really nice to see such a difference. It's gonna give pubs in City Centre a run for their money. Probably my new favourite watering hole in Saltlake.

Well decorated & very well managed. Service was quick & prompt..Smoking zone available.. Only cons, a bit noisy to spent some quality time..

It's a good cosy right next to City Center 1 place with 2 different floors with 2 very different kind of ambiences. The 1st floor is more modern and appealing. but the 2 nd floor has a very rustic old school ambience that me and my friends really liked. The food was great and the prices were okay. Can visit if you are in the neighbourhood.
