Good infrastructure overall. The building is new and nice looking. It has four floors. The ground floor has the dissection room and office and faculty rooms of Anatomy department. The first floor mostly has lecture halls along with several Physiology labs. The second floor is home to some lecture halls as well as home to Biochemistry department. The third floor is the academic section. The fourth floor is where the exam halls are situated. There are ample and spacious washroom areas in all floors with provision of drinking water. The building has been constructed relatively recently with all modern amenities in place viz. three to four spacious and functional lifts. There is also an emergency backup system for the lifts in case there is a power cut. The overall ambience inside the building is pleasant which creates a conducive atmosphere for teaching and learning. The exterior is also well maintained with a good lawn and fountain. Regular classes for the first year mbbs students are held in this building. Besides, it also houses a large number of other teaching and non teaching staffs mostly the clerks, stenographers, petty officers etc. The Dean academic is also officially seated in this building although a prior appointment is required to meet the Dean.
