The temple located in the main road which is more than 30+ years old. A giant Vinayagar which will be seated down in the floors and a very powerful. Nice place to see but it will be a bit traffic area in evening times. Rather than that this temple is a very catchy and attractive place in the main area of bulwar. Reconstruction of this temple is required and they shall do that. If so this will be a fantastic and awesome to look for.

It is the oldest vinayagr temple in pondicherry. Salai vinayagar is syambu. It is told it is still growing. I have been to this temple from my childhood. He is very powerful pilliar, I had seen had released from their suffering and going to this pilliar. One the most powerful spiritual destination in pondicherry, this temple. They constructing this temple for gumbabisakam. If you coming to pondy, do visit this place and get the blessings of salai vinayagar.
