Bidhannagar CC Block Sub Post Office

It’s a sub-post office which comes under the Post Office at Beleghata. It’s a fairly big office with a spacious area. The office opens sharp at 09:30 am & the staff members are largely punctual. Unlike most of the Govt Offices here the staff members are quite helpful & in this regard special mention needs to be made of their senior staff member Hari Babu who is very cordial with all the people who visit this post office. This office has a beautifully maintained children’s park in their area which is maintained very well.

My parcel was not not getting delivered to my address due to some issue related to area pin code 700102 , thankfully to thestaff of bidhannagar cc block India post, who were so helpful in finding my parcel . Thank you to all the staff so professional , well mannered and systematic.

Its a big post office with all types of postal services available. A person can post between 9.30am to 3.30pm, thereafter 4.00pm to 8am the following day. Aadhar updation, foreign posting, philately counter, parcel hub, etc are few among various services available over here. There is a beautiful park adjacent to the office building.

Excellent service to update the Phone number in Aadhar Card. Less time taken with cordial behavior. Thanks to all staff at the Post Office.

On 14.06.2016,I visited one renowned private courier service in Salt Lake ,to send one envelope to Pune City.The lady in the counter informed me that it will cost Rs 140/--I asked her how long it will take to reach the destination? She informed me it will reach by17.06.2016. She further informed, that the charge has been increased recently.I backed out and went to Bidhannagar CCBlock P.O.The gentleman in the counter with the huge workload ,handling all sorts of of postal functions like M.O. Postal Order, Registered Posts,Speed Posts ,V.P.P. etc. checked my envelope,weighed it (45 gms)and informed me to deposit Rs 40/- for sending it through Speed Post.The envelope (Receipt No.EW861380009IN) reached its destination on 17.06.2016.Does it indicate, the most efficient government services at the chepest rate in the competitive market?

Largest post office of Saltlake sector 1. Every kind of post and banking facilities available here. Staff are also cooperative . Regular post timing 10am - 3pm .

Very good service given that its a government office. Computerised operation. Almost all services available here. But no parking allowed outside on the road.

Good facility. But of late, speed post service is pathetic. Taking more than 14 days to deliver.
