This is the biggest mosque in Rajabazar. Infact this used to be the mosque with most number of floors(G+5) in Kolkata lately,but I guess now others have also tried to make a similar floor level structure. The mosque itself is in perfect location and whoever visits Rajabazar should try praying here once. Ground floor is Air-conditioned. Rest of the floors are not. The mosque maintains its cleanliness very well and people would find very comfortable while praying here. There is a section of Madarsa as well attached with every floor and children from nearby are the ones who receive education here. Every floor has ablution area which makes it easier for people to make their ablution at any floor without having to wait. Staircases are available from two side of the mosque which also makes it easier for people to make an exit. The view from the terrace is impeccable as one can see until quite far from all side of the mosque. Last but not the least our beloved Imam(Janab Qamar Sahab's) qiraat is also amazing during prayers which will definitely make you remember his voice once you have heard it. Overall apart from all the above points we must not forget that this is just a place of worship for Muslims similar to all other mosques in Kolkata. So no mosque is better or bad than other. Facilities provided to the people makes this one of the best mosque in Kolkata. While I am doing my part just by providing information to all. Jazak Allah Shukran!!!
