Bharathi Park Puducherry

Such a beautiful park which is built for the health and fitness of the residents. The vibe is very positive. Though it is very old, it still looks as good as new. Green foliage, squirrels running about, children playing, elders exercising and the cool fresh air of the sea, make it a must go place to visit.

Wonderful experience, I recommend everyone who loves water sports and 🏖⛱ beaches to pay a visit to this location which is around 20-25 minutes away.. I had visited the park with my wife and daughter although with the baby there are very few things that can be done . But you can enjoy the scenery and the beach area which is very good .. Right now parking is free of cost and entry tickets are 70 per person. Rest other sports have their own charges .. but the restaurant inside PR ices are very high and food taste is normal ..

Big park with lots of greenery. Good place to stroll around. Rats are there. But harmless. Sea breeze is enjoyable as rock beach is around.

Quite a beautiful & well kept where you can spend your time chit chatting with your loved ones or you could even sit peacefully and enjoy yourself. We visited the park early morning on our way to catch our breakfast & it was quite soothening. The stillness, birds chirping, no hubub just peace & people engaging in their routine errands & exercising🫰🏻

This place is really clean and calm. You can see lots of squirrel. Early in the morning or before 8 is the best time to visit. Lot of people visit here for their morning walking. Kids will love this place there are lots of play areas for them. It is surrounded with full of trees so you can easily beat the sun.

Based on my visit to Bharathi park, I had a nice experience. The park's well-designed layout and commitment to cleanliness and maintenance impressed me. Good ambience. Nice shade of trees all around, great place to grab some fresh air inside pondicherry town. No entry fee. Aayimandapam also situated inside this park.

Named after poet Bharathidasan, this quaint park is within the White town surrounded with government buildings. It has a large circumference to go on long walks and ample benches under trees to relax. And peppered with old sculptures in nooks and corners.
The park is well maintained and has no entrance fees.

A peaceful public park in the heart of the city. Close to beach. Really clean and well maintained park. There is an outdoor gym, people exercising. Drinking water tank was shaped like a shell. Nothing special to see but a good place for a calm walk.

For outsider's it's a must go park with large space, various plants and trees , then swings & slides for the kids. There is plenty of place to walk.. there is small built hill where kids can climb..
There is a separate place with all gym equipment which are in good condition.. there is also a place allotted for feeding mothers..
Drinking water is available.. lot of beautiful carvings and painting are there which will draw your attention… plenty of cement chairs are available if u wish to relax there…
Since there are lot of trees.. even in the afternoon it’s breezy and you can find many tree shades to sit under…
It’s maintained well except for few people who pees in some area which is disgusting….

This park is very near to gandhi statue in pondicherry. Very well maintained with games for kids and french used weapons at the center of the park...can spend time with kids

Very good and huge park just opposite to the Promenade. It has got lot of flora. The park is open from 6am to 7pm. Nice place to hang around with family, friends.

Beautiful park near the beach. Entry is free. Best place to relax with fresh air. The place is neat and maintained well. Suitable for a walk, relaxing, has a play area for kids too. Play area was bit crowded when we visited.

A very beautiful park having 4 pathways similar to each other. The structure in the centre is main attraction. A good place to sit and relax. A plenty space for children to play. Also there are play equipment for children. Drinking water is also available. It is opposite to Raj novas and very near to Pondicherry museum. A plenty of raised platform available to sit along side of pathway. It is in shape of circle divided into 4 equal sectors..If you guys decide to come as one day trip to pondicherry.. U can choose this spot to relax.. have lunch.. etc..
Apart from this... Best plays for walking, jogging. . (Workouts) Etc...
