NKDA Football Stadium

Went there for an international karate tournament (25th Bongobhumi Cup) organized by JTEKAN Shitoryu Karate Do Association. Nice ambiance. It's situated in the middle of a residential area, so loud music may be objected to, by nearby residents. Otherwise all good. The support staff helped us with required electric connections etc.

Great stadium very near to DLF 1 stop in Newtown. Viewers seats with AC gallery as well. Changing rooms and washrooms also spacious and well maintained.

A very well constructed and maintained football stadium. The grass is amazingly spread out evenly. There are a couple of huge stands where spectators can watch the matches. There are changing rooms as well. The road outside is quite wide and there's ample space for parking. A lot of street food vendors put up stalls when there's a match happening and there's a cafe and sports goods store right opposite the stadium. A very good initiative to nurture local teams and players with decent, state-of-the-art facility.

This is located at a place which is very near to Bishwa Bangla Gate. The stadium is well maintained by NKDA. It has large dressing rooms, bathrooms, covered seating arrangements for the spectators and has a capacity of about 300+ people. Generally it is given for rent to corporate and other clubs for exhibition or practice matches. There is a flood light, sound boxes and every necessary element. The pitch is also well managed and not very hard. There is space for morning/evening walks as well.

Very beautiful stadium with well maintained ground. It also has a wash room and parking area.

It is a very good ground with great sitting and the ground is 11 a side. Lot of amateur tournaments are organised here

A beautiful football ground. There's lots of matches taking place. It's well maintained and clean. The walking path is simply superb I always go there for walking. Pleasant ground. The grass is well cut and maintained good.

Spacious, gallery with sun shade cover, plenty seats. Good for exhibition, show, stall, and cultural performance. There is a toilet in the left corner of the main entrance.

I am photographer...went here for iufl season 7. Its a good place to organise college football tournament. Has all the facilities. The stand and also well made.

Well maintained full size football ground with 300-500 spectators gallery capacity. Nice dressing room with toilet and VIP box on top. Calcutta football league or even I-league matches can be arranged here. Flood lights আর not available.

The football stadium is good as there is an ample amount of grass in the football ground,as it is required for the playing football. The football field is made perfect according to the proper measurements.It is placed in a quite a easily accessible place from New Town bus stand .

A good ground for school sports day... Enough space for accommodating guests.. There are three separate galleries two open and one in the middle of the two with glass rooms..... Wash rooms are there separated for girls and boys.... There are places to sit beside the playing ground so you need not stand so much.... The entrance is big...

This place is very near to Newtown bus stand and is very good and clean you can walk and run good to spend your evening

Visited the NKDA Football stadium for school's annual sports event. This is a full size football ground and maintained well. Galleries are spacious and clean. Open stands means well ventilated surroundings. Seats are well designed for a normal build human for small sessions if person has to sit for langer duration it is difficult. This ground is located in the heart of New Town action area 1. Few minutes walking from new town bus station. So its easy to get to the place. This is located near action area 1 shopping area, so you can get everything near by. Inside the ground there is an enclosed air-conditioned gallery. Can be used for players, VIPs are assisted persons. Maintenance of the ground can be better. Grass on the ground can be taken a better care of. Toilets can be improved. Drinking water can be cleaned and arranged for all visitors. Greenery can be improved. Scope for more tall trees are there in the ground. There is no parking space available for the players and visitors. It is fine as of now because area is not fully developed, however in days to come when area will be developed parking would be be a pain for the visitors and residents around the location. Security can be improved this will also add up to better maintenance of the ground. If this ground is to host sports events for play schools then grass on the ground is a must. This ground should not be allowed for private functions like marriage or birthday parties.
At the end with all pros and cons I am happy and impressed by the ground. This hosts annual sports day of many schools, so will remain in good memory of the coming generation.
