This cozy restaurant has left such a nice impression of hospitality, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, wide variety of cocktails and drinks and deserts. Everything had a positive vibe and me and my friends enjoyed to the core, we were tired before reaching the restaurant and this place just lift up the spirit. Love love love ❤ I definitely want to come back and bring back more people.

Excellent property, amazing team managing the property and very well trained staff. The location too is superb. Best hotel to stay in Pondy. I have lived in Pondy for 2 years in the past and I know the city very well. This property was a treat to stay in, we loved the breakfast and other food. The rooms are simply superb. Every minor detail has been kept in mind by the team. It gives you a royal feel that you have been catered to. The best part is, the hotel has a private car parking in an area where space is a huge constraint.

Cramer for drinks and two meals. Very tranquil especially by the pool. Nicely done restoration of a historic building. Extremely clean.

So pleased to have stayed in this hotel that is making strides to be environmentally-friendly - filtered water in glass bottles, no plastics for bathroom toiletries, no unnecessary changing of linen...and more. We had a wonderful room. Very helpful and friendly staff, though restaurant service could do with a polish. I had a superb ayurvedic massage, with 4 hands working on me. All told, a very good stay.

Fantastic property- can attest to this after staying in many other great properties in Pondi. Very elegant, quiet yet centrally located place. Genuinely warm service, top quality food, beautiful rooms, a clean and cozy pool- could not ask for more really. Looks way better than the pics online, don't hesitate to book it.

A seriously wonderful hotel! French colonial in its style, well located to the beach, restaurants and shops. The service was warm and excellent and the restaurant food delicious. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay here. The staff is super helpful and great with kids. Hospitality is amazing. Food is great too. And the pool was our kid's favourite part!

A wonderful experience. The entire staff were super kind, F&B team were amazing especially Dharani and Prasad were exceptional. The main chef too was wonderful. The front desk team was great. Overall a ten on five experience. Knowledge at their fingertips, every one with a smile, a genuine nature and courteous spirit very contagious

Amazing stay at what has to be the best hotel in pondicherry. Very central and is walking distance to all the cafés and restaurants near by. The rooms were beautiful and clean and were filled with beautiful furniture. The icing on the cake were the staff who were attentive and well trained…..highly recommend staying here!!

It was a last minute plan change through which we ended up booking our accommodation at CGH earth Pondichery for our stay. We were proven right with an excellent service at a great location. The property is the best place to soak up the French culture along with great facilities and right in the middle of town. The best part is staff, who are extremely good at what they do and moreover well-behaved. It seemed to be a second home here. We would not be surprised, if we end up visiting the same place again. Great experience..👍🙂

Great place, friendly staff, good neighbourhood with lots of food joints. Beach is quite crowded though but with 20 mins drive options - Eden/paradise are great clean alternatives.... worth the trade off of travel as Ola is quite accessible to move around

Stayed at Palai de Mahe in August 2023. Was a wonderful stay with great rooms, food but above all the staff...very helpful, always smiling and eager to help. And the gem of a manager, Dinu, who has a wealth of local knowledge and was extremely good to us. Highly recommended and will be back ! Best hotel in pondicherry by far !!

Hassle free booking even though it was just a day before.
Reached easily with Google maps, but cramped parking. When the helper opened the boot to unload the luggage it got hit with the low ceiling and scratched. (A little thing to remember if you travelling there).
Received a warm welcome in reception with a cold nanari sarbath.
Swimming pool is maintained well and kids loved it.
Dining hall team is excellent. They took care of us like their very own. Food is amazing.
Couple of minutes walk to the Rock beach.
Few other amazing eateries are just around the corners, so more choices for the choosy ones.
It was a leisure trip, family loved it here.
A beautiful property in White town, would surely make you visit again.

We visit the cafe and restaurant. The inner courtyard with the pool is a haven of peace and quiet from the busy street. The rooftop restaurant serves excellent, fresh food. Expensive but special.

This hotel gives you the experience of what it must have been like to live in a grand house/haveli in Pondicherry albeit with all the mod cons that we want when we go on holiday. This property has been beautifully restored and cared for. The decor and colour palettes used are exactly what you would expect from a property in the heart of the French quarter. The colours of the floors in the bedrooms are just wonderful. Attention to detail is mind boggling. There are large pots with lovely plants along the covered corridors leading to the rooms. Lovely wooden doors leading to large high ceiling bedrooms. Just the way it should be. Step out of the bedrooms and peer down from the balcony and you’re greeted by the sight of a refreshing pool. What more can you ask for after a hot day of sight seeing.

The evening meals are served on the upper floor terrace. The breeze blows across the open verandah and you can enjoy breakfast and dinner served by friendly and caring staff. We had the Chef recommendation of large prawns and fish.

A special thank you to all the staff who made our stay very comfortable. They have all the knowledge of what is amazing about Pondicherry and are always on hand to help out. This is why this hotel is more than just a hotel, it has a warmth that most hotels lack. Excellent!
