St. Anthony's church is one of the churches of the diocese of Baruipur and this would be too one of the big parish of the diocese. Since there are other ecclesial churches which are not Catholic; therefore, in order to specify this church as catholic than the other churches around it, the word 'catholic' is termed.

This church is having three masses every Sunday for the faithful to relieve their life value well. First and second masses are in Bengali language, and third one is in English language. There is also Bengali mass every evening on Saturday.

A solemn place to visit and stay at peace and pray to the Lord. Right on the main road this parish is the heart of this place with a great parish priest. Sunday masses are crowded with people who comes to hear the sermon of the parish priest.
